Those are undoubtedly some of the attractions, but as I wrote previously, for me the attraction is that El Centro is the centre of diversity in MDE. You can and will meet people from all walks of life. Students, professors, business people, office staff, street vendors, street hookers, bohemains, homeless, drug addicts, disabled folks, artists, charity workers, musicians, young, old, families, lovers, gays, straights, trans, black, white, brown, some even purple. Its a huge melting pot of experiences. Folks are very firndly and usually intrigued when they meet foreigners. I personally prefer going to El Centro. Not just for the cheap hookers. But I like that in El Centro I'm more often treated just like everyone else.
