Thanks for the concern. But I passed my COVID test for departure so I was as careful as I could be. At some point, they have to let us move on. I'm vaxed, boosted masked, sanitizered, etc. What more can one do? But I do try to exercise caution in my dealings. But they are slowly getting back out there.

Well I made it back out but Ipanema had closed back down again. I guess I heard from a girl that it had something to do with crowd sizes. Also when the cops came they went through the place and were asking many of the Pinays if they had a working visa or tourist visa and that messed up the flow.

However, they are going to lift size restrictions for gatherings next week. So no more crowd size of 5 or less. Biggest thing about this is now many of the restaurants will be able to seat you without you going online to book a reservation, and also Ipanema will open again too. Found the latter out when I asked one of the workers there when they would be back open and he said next week.

Otherwise, some of the same Viets are across the hall in Jamborie for the time period charging way more for a short time than normal, but I guess that is the laws of supply and demand. But in the following weeks especially when more flights are coming in will one see prices begin to drop.

Forget about Brix, way over-rated and way over-priced. How much were the Viet girls quoting you in Ipanema?

One was asking 700 SGD for overnight, or 500 for short. Way too high for me so I got one down to 350 which was too much but it's how the market was working that night. As more place get open and more flights from VN come in, I imagine the price will go down.

Hi all, its been a long time since my last post. I was in Singapore for a week from April 08 to April 15. To be honest there is no action happening unless you have any contacts. I had my regular visit me before a covid scare, all good at the end. I went to Clarke Quay it is a long way away from how it used to be, had a couple of places with loud music but didn't see much happening, many places still closed. I walked along Orchard road towards Orchard towers, the only places open were the massage shops, all the women trying to grab you and get some business. The night before I left I happened to go past Geylang, decided to walk down two streets, Lorong 6 and 4 if I remember correctly, all the houses in total darkness. The taxi drivers were telling me that from the 19 of April all night clubs will be opening up, giving the venues a chance to open up till quite late. I did visit a couple of massage shops while traveling around, massages are much cheaper and pretty good better than in Melbourne and the only extras was the usual handy $50 bucks. Interesting enough, I could only access these forums by using a VPN, as they're blocked in Singapore. Not sure if this blocking is intermittent. There are also two other Dome forums for local providers and a ROW section. The prices for local providers below 30 (post 30 becomes MILF!) is eye watering at between 1 k and 1. 5 k an hour one shot! Just crazy and I'm amazed they get any business given Thai alternatives are at around 150-200 SGD an hour and Malay Chinese can be had just over the border at a fraction of this. But judging by the hits and reviews on the SB forum, it looks like they do.
