I have not mongered in SGP because I found the prices too high pre covid (compared to BKK, Jakarta, etc.). Looking at Sammy's forum reports now and MR, thinking of trying someone when I am there later in Nov.

Ipanema is a shadow of its former self. Without the live band it has a completely different vibe. Quality of girls are a bit disappointing and outnumbered by patrons. Overwhelming majority are from Vietnam. Met a few Indonesians as well. ST are 300 or 350. LT 600. I miss the pre-Covid days when FL were plentiful and young. I'm not going to sweat about Ipanema closing. They'll keeping coming cause the money is good, and simply flock to another bar. They just don't know where yet. At least that's what they all say.

Not sure if you ever saw the old Monty Pythons Life of Brian, when they were looking for John The Shrubber and the found him and he gave a speech on "What sad times these are, when common ruffians can say the word Nee" well those are my sentiments now after reading this, So many fun memories and good times had there! I hope I can get there before it closes and hope they find somewhere else!

Gives me hope. I hope to be there either late next month or in December. Even though there are numerous other bars and clubs to visit all over Singapore, nothing like going shopping in a trusted store where you know where everything is!

What other bars and clubs do you recommend. Any have FL girls?

Had a great time at Ipanema the last weekend. Quite a good number of freelancing girls whereby most of them are from Vietnam. Quotes for LT varied from 300-500 SGD. Found a very nice 28 year old Filipina who performed really well and who stayed till noon the following day for 300 SGD plus taxi money. So Ipanema is almost back to pre-covid times (Only DJ and no band playing anymore).
