Tips for mongering in Budapest

I will e visiting Budapest for 3 nights later this month. Looking forward to have a good time with the ladies, which I heard Budapest is famous for. I have a few questions.

1. what are the good message parlors and what should be the rate. Don't want to get ripped off.

2. heard of rosszlanyok to find the girls. How much are the avg rates per hour?

3. what could be the other cheap options? Are street girls safe? If not where to find the safer street girls. Because I am thinking I would be drunk later at night so won't have the patience to look online for escorts.

Stripclubs are seldom good value for money and Budapest have had many issues with scams but the list that Q posted actually have the decent clubs. No scam clubs as far as I can see. I have visited around half of them back in the days and hope to visit som of them again on my upcoming trip: P1 and P2 was rather boring but HalloBar, Kiraly, Marilyn was fun and I want to try again now 6 years later. Mambo seems interesting, but in the wrong part of town. Good tip is to check the clubs on google maps for reviews / comments and not expect more or less fun / sexyness than in any other European or US stripclubs.

Budapest regulars or locals have been warning people NOT going there! It is well known fact those places are more or less scams pretty much all of them.

I assume Questner has good intention to compile and post that list here, but strip joints in Budapest have been discussed here Budapest thread many many times over the years and always Budapest regulars or locals have been warning people NOT going there! So there is very good reason why FlAdventurer or Sammyt or anyone else us Budapest veterans do not list them in this guide section.

It is well known fact those places are more or less scams pretty much all of them. Basic M. O usually is that one drink end up costing like 50-100 euros and there is nothing you can do about it and if you do not have money security guards escort you to the nearest ATM, police will not help you! (You ordered the drink and you pay what restaurant charges for it). Or less severe cases you only got some crappy lapdance for 10 minutes from some less attractive woman and price is still high considering you will not getting anything else. There is never sex available, since it would be illegal in Hungary.

Obvious reasons people who have getting scammed like this they rarely admit it here publicly, because of shame, but if you Google this you will find these stories.

If strip clubs is your thing, then go Prague instead there are safe and reputable clubs where prices are normal and even sex happens in smaller backrooms or you can order girl to your hotel or apartment, even thou it is not clearly legal or illegal, but grey area of the law.

You clearly believe you are being given incorrect advice or even outright lied to by other members of this forum. Well, that's your prerogative. Rather than argue back and forth might I suggest you resolve this issue for us all by following these steps.

1. Go to Budapest (assuming you're not already there).

2. Go to various bars seeking out hookers offering their services. Movie Guy has suggested Vorosmarty *** area. I have heard you may have some luck in Morrisons and, if it still exists, Old Mans Pub.

3. Come to a business agreement with some of the hookers you meet and find attractive.

4. Report back here with your findings. With prices please.

I'm sure we're all eagerly awaiting your report. I know I am. I think we will all learn something from your experience, and that's what this forum is all about.

Your original question, although not directed towards me, was to enquire why not bar hookers and how they are different from other cities. I gave you a frank, direct, and accurate response. Instead of considering the advice, you put on a condescending attitude, dismissing someone who has mongered in Budapest for years, genuinely trying to help you. Once again, you fail to understand the meaning of racism. I did not say all gypsies were scammers. I said the bar hookers like the ones you see hanging around Godzu, or the river area, are gypsies are they will try to scam you. Not only has this happened to 2 friends of mine, but it's well documented in the news. Bar hookers in the UK, or Spain, not gypsies and likely not scams. But this is Budapest. It's still a little wild east.
