I don't know if you check out the Swiss forum, but over there a current topic is "Are the golden Globe times over?". From my recent visit, I can understand why that's up for debate. As always, a wide difference of opinion, plus some bizarre comments. One guy complaining that Globe is "just a fuck factory". What other expectation could you have?

Most people agree that at least since 2016 or so, quality of lineup in Globe is decreasing every year.

About the fuck factory comment, I had the same thought after my first few visits. Most people understand that all FKKs are fuck factories too. Globe makes this more obvious with the shows and so on, but one would hope that most people understand that their oh so special favorite WG has fucked hundreds and hundreds of men before and will fuck hundreds of men after.

Right, I have never really been a Globe fun, a Club where too many times I felt a fish out of water for many reasons; I compare the Globe to a very beautiful woman whom I have been courting with little success.

For sure, the latest moves will not help my troubled relation with the club, as nothing kills my desire more than a porno set or extreme stuff; however, if this is what the majority of the customers expects, the move makes sense commercially. Only doubt is if the club can do without the market segment of customers like me: time will tell.

But facts are, when almost no more competition in ZH, even a very different guy like me prefer Amesia level, but less and less clients at Globe, where new events attract more voyeurs than regulars. When Globe is expensive compare to Dietikon or Cleo where some girls can compete, level and image of most girls won t attract many new regulars for such expensive rate for such quality. Looking at today's (Sunday) 31 offerings, there's a few I don't know but I'm not unhappy I'm home again. To get the quickest measure of the current LU, I'd suggest you try Globe on Thursday, at least there should be 60+ girls based on current plans.

My plan is to arrive earlier from NYC (11 am) and spend half of each day at Globe and Aphro for 4 days.

In past I would fly from LA; arrive 3 pm and fall into routine of Globe for first evening and all day next; then Aphro Fri / Sat.

This should avoid "hitting the proverbial wall" after two days in Globe inferno and late pickings at Aphro.

When I first started in 2014; I had no set routine and would switch back and forth at both clubs at first of LU decline.

Globe princesses saw you walk out and would be more eager next day and some early bird stunners were at Aphro around 5-6 pm.

Fair question, since I stated that the LU is everything, yet provided no detail. No doubt seems unhelpful.

Why?

This trip to CH I tried a few new clubs first off, hoping to re-capture the excitement I felt when I first discovered the FKK club scene. That didn't turn out at all well. I had read so many reports elsewhere of stunning beauties, yet my reality was startlingly different. And, TPs at clubs like Cleo are so photoshopped they really are worthless. Globe isn't much better, in that they all look fantastic, regardless of the ultimate reality.

All I can say is given we can see the same women so differently, there isn't much point relying on others views, and hence I didn't bother stating mine. For what it's worth, I'd say there were girls in both categories you described. But I don't really see any other alternative than to take a risk and check it out for yourself. I don't regret the decision to try new clubs, but I was very disappointed with what I found. Such is life.

Returning to Globe salvaged things to some intent, but I left a bit flat this time. In fact, I took the opportunity to see the few remaining places in CH I'd wanted to visit, because at the moment I have no desire to return. Like you, it's expensive for me to visit EU, and based on this recent experience the enjoyment realised vs time & money spent was a pretty borderline outcome. I'll be back in AT in August with visits to Wellcum, and after that I'll review the viability of the FKK scene.

LU was OK, but certainly not vintage based on my 10-year Globe experience. More than enough choice for this visit, but I hope it gets back to pre-Covid levels over time.

At Freubad, there is a popular upstairs area known as The Gallery where there are a number of beds side-by-side, so public in a kino sense. Below that area is a two-bed kino. I saw one couple have a session on a couch in the area beyond the very large bar area. Very spacious club in general. This visit was not on one of the advertised public sex days.

Please don't take the above as a personal recommendation to visit either club as an alternative to Globe, as for me both were a total bust LU-wise.

At Wellcum, public sex can only happen in the kino, as the following warning has always been present under the Ladies section.

We explicitly point out that the performance of sexual acts in the club is not allowed.

Don't know if this rule is simply club policy or because of some particular Austrian law. I'll ask next time I visit.

After my scouting trips to Cleo and Freubad, I returned to Globe for a few days.

I skipped Tuesday, Friday and the first "fetish" Sunday. Thursday was very busy, Saturday quieter, and Monday dead. The wide difference in LU numbers across the days reflect this. Not sure which one is determining the other.

LU was OK, but certainly not vintage based on my 10-year Globe experience. More than enough choice for this visit, but I hope it gets back to pre-Covid levels over time. For me, quality of LU is everything, as it's the only thing about the place that varies. All the other factors (oppressively hot club and rooms, loud music, smoky atmosphere, lack of anywhere to relax) are eternally constant negatives that need to be overwhelmed by a stellar LU.

The renovated terrace has its flaws. Still no toilet or fridge / drink dispenser for cold soft drinks. The three public "beds" are four-section steel frames, essentially a mesh twin seat with adjustable back rests. So, if a couple lies on it to use it as a bed for sex, you each have one steel bar right where your lower ribs are, and another between you. They are covered by two thin two-section pads that slip all over the place. In summary, really uncomfortable to the point of being unusable for me. They have had two attempts at these beds now, and failed each time. The newly refurbished shower already had leaking plumbing.

Why they don't / can't put some roofing up there I don't understand. A cover around three sides would provide some shade and allow for better permanent furnishing, with no need for staff to scramble to move cushions each time the frequent rain comes.

The growing popularity of e-cigarettes amongst the girls is a real turn-off. They stink like animal shit when they smoke them, and then kissing the girl afterwards is about appealing as licking an ashtray. As an aside for those who can suffer from hay fever, around May can prove very bad in Switzerland. This year, particularly so.

I put up with the towel nonsense. Whatever. Saw plenty lying around. Maybe they have gone slack on it. No explanation of what happened if you disobeyed.

P.S. Switzerland seemed incredibly relaxed about Covid. Only saw a handful of people wearing masks the entire time I was there.
