I read on swissinfo.ch that there will be another vote on September 27 to scrap the Free Movement of People agreement between the EU and Switzerland.

This was an issue voted on back in 2014, and has implications for Romanian WGs working in Swiss clubs like Globe. I recall Globe putting a halt on club improvements until this was resolved, as losing those girls would cripple the clubs. It seemed to get politically bogged down and shelved.

What do locals think may happen?
I fear given the economic impact of the current crisis there might be a tendency towards nationalism / controlling borders / curtailing immigration & foreign workers.

Small Switzerland need Romanians, not only for brothels, but for cleaning for rich. Also many Albanians or Balkanians, when Switzerland and Zurich city is real drugs market. About WGs, not all make more than 2000 per day and buy X6 or Q5 or Mercedes, or Louboutin or Gucci. At Amesia for example, girls don t have to pay entry when they make no business. Business in Switzerland is not anymore what it was, and even at Globe I saw empty at night and not full crowded on day, on my last visits. Not all girls are busy. In Germany, at big Sharks for example, some girls don t cover entry and sleeping rate everyday. I remember Ella at World, she would be on average of Globe looks level now, telling me at the end of the room: I'm only 20, and I have to make money for my mother and my small brothers are home, had good time with her but made me feel uncomfortable. Of course, many are pimped and buy car for pimp, of course family is happy to get money, of course those who make big money spend too much this too fast money, but for many, they don t have much money for them at the end, and even fast money they are not able to make elsewhere, but I will never say easy money, for a woman as I always try to look at them.

Romania is part of the EU which means all Romanians have freedom of movement within the EU. Almost every girl who works at Globe speaks decent English too. Any of the girls there could move to the UK or Ireland and get a hospitality job making EUR 1.5-2 k per month, a substantial increase compared to the EUR 600 per month that a person with a good education could earn in Bucharest (the capital). The reality is that most of the girls are too proud to do a proper job and feel entitled to money based on their looks. They want high end clothes, fancy holidays, a nice apartment and a new car back home without doing the hard work that the rest of us do. I feel little sympathy for these girls. My heart goes out to the girls in places like Thailand who live on a few bucks a day.

Not after Dec 31 2020 they can't as the UK (sadly) voted to leave the EU and they have introduced a new Australian style points based system for immigration for work. Secondly, I don't think prostitution is easy work: do you think it is easy to be a beautiful 20 year old and have to fuck obese 50+ year olds with money day in day out? One girl from Paradise in Stuttgart who I became friends with even after she retired told me after she had retired that she still quote, 'have nightmares about Paradise'. I live in Switzerland and I think that this vote will probably pass because outside the big cities there is a lot of xenophobia and mistrust of foreigners. If it does pass, either Globe will have to get more local girls or, which I think is more likely, girls will get tourist visas and then work illegally. I imagine the owners will turn a blind eye to this. Or they will introduce an exception for sex workers but require them to register. I'm sure something will work out. If not, if all the Romanians leave, even Globe would probably have to close.

Also who justify them about poorety, they can move to another land with their husband or BF and make a normal job and spare some money and go back to their land years later with saved money, they prefer the easy way, don't judge for this but please we don't have to feel pity for them, they like this lifestyle to afford a lifestyle to show trough social media, prostitutes of other land are more reserved, I never seen an Hungarian or Polish prostitute to show her lifestyle like this Romanian chicks.

Even if in Romania the salary would be higher to 2000 euro they would prefer make prostitutes and earn more money.

Really hard to tell. When I moved some 16 years ago to CH there was a wave of nationalism launching. Some political ads remembered me in their design on German ads during Hitler regime (learned it in school, I am from Germany). In the recent years this slowed down a bit. In Germany the right wing party also lost grounds with the current crisis. I would expect, that it will be to the good as during the current crisis the right wing parties really had nothing to offer but complaining about everything (from not enough and too late measures to too many and to early measures from the same people). I stay optimistic.

Yes but I think will be more for other kind of jobs, prostitution they have to take from other countries.

What personally I don't like is that they allow for this job only EU girls, it's a particular job they should open for other countries too.

It would be nice to see more Brazilian girls.

As for Russian or Ukraine personally I doubt I think they prefer to work in Dubai or places like this or escorting or trough Instagram.

In my case, if I knew it were due to jealousy, maybe it wouldn't be too bad. I sometimes wonder if it's part of the work and the need to cut emotions out? Or maybe that some girls did not want to play actresses anymore outside the room, or that they feel I'm easy enough that they didn't need to? Or maybe stress of the work and other reasons?

I'm an addict to beautiful girls but I would be happy to see this reduction in supply and increase in price if it meant poor people everywhere including Romania wouldn't have to prostitute themselves just to put food on the table or have a decent quality of life.

Agree with Sebastiane here. I enjoy the girls and the experiences, but would prefer to only see girls who are doing the job because they choose to and not because they need to.

A lot of guys here will point out that UBI would result in a dramatic reduction in the supply and thus would be terrible for us mongers. It would certainly reduce the willingness of Romanian girls to get corralled into gangs and shipped to Germany and Switzerland.
