I doubt this will happen. This is basically a proposal by Pattaya to get vaccinated and open first. I don't think the rest of Thailand would agree to something like that. Even though Pattaya and Phuket may provide lots of tax revenue to Thailand, I've rarely seen that as an excuse to give those regions special treatment.

1. 10/1 or 2/1, depending on the outcome of their phased reopening plans. They're supposed to reopen with no quarantine if you have a vaccine passport. But I think on 10/1, that's only for specified "sandbox" districts (e. G. Chonburi, Phuket, etc). This will also depend heavily on how fast they can vaccinate their population.

2. CDC revises their travel guidelines for vaccinated travelers and Thailand adopts it. It really makes very little sense to make vaccinated people quarantine.

Read the article, makes it sound nice and fluffy like you will be in Pattaya City and Banglamung but this is the line that is concerning "To make a sandbox is more difficult on the mainland than on islands. " Does this mean your entire quarantine will be spent on Ko Lan and Ko Phai for most? That would be pretty damn boring imo, unless you like monkeys of course.

It has been a long time since I read such a comprehensive report. This is exactly what I am looking for at the moment. And even if maybe I don't always have the same expectations, I can easily project myself into your description. There are a lot of ideas and experiences that interest me. To a large extent I recognize what I know about Pattaya and what has become of it now.

For my part, after many failures, various attempts ready to succeed, especially at the beginning of the year, the various lockdowns in Thailand and now in France, I am still stuck in Paris.

I have started a vaccination process with AstraZaneca yesterday and I will have my second injection at the end of May. Hopefully (which I don't really expect after all these changes for 1 year), and I will try to come to Thailand in June / July and / or October.

At the beginning of 2021 I was ready to carry out 16 days of quarantine, I had a visa and a COE. Now I don't want to do any more. I'll just do a vaccination, a test and that's it. I no longer want quarantine or no more than 2 days to take a test on arrival. To complete with my state of mind, I'm a little tired of being taken for a flipper ball and I'm at the end of my exasperation to come to Thailand, and it makes me very sad about it. And on condition that the reception conditions are profoundly modified and finally turned for the tourists and that there are no other sanitary setbacks (which seems a difficult bet to win in fact) and I expect everything now.

This scenario will be invalidated if the vaccine is no longer effective against new variants. And something tells me it's possible going to happen.

At this point, I just have one additional question if you agree to answer: how old are you?

Bar girls may not care but a lot of others would. The current King / regime in Thailand have tightened up the Lese Majeste enforcement. Several years ago a tourist got in an argument with a taxi driver, so he threw 500 baht on th ground and stomped on it. He got arrested and I think deported. Just look in the Thai media for how many people have been arrested in the past year or so. Even if you do get arrested a bar girl or local patron may get offended and arrange for 5 guys to beat the crap out of you.

Way back in the days, when the Paw was just a fingerling and a broke ass college student in H-town, there was a highway called the 610 loop that ran around the city limits forming an oval or circle of sorts. The huge track was notorious for having some of the most seediest motels, with hookers amongst other shady ass people living and working out of them. These 610 loop motels are where the college girls that I met in my classes first applied their part time trade of selling ass. You are absolutely keen and correct. So many weird connections and epiphanies come my way in my life when I look back. The other day my hunting stops went on this pathway.

1. First stop Kelaya 66. Afternoon was spent on Soi 6 and Kelaya 66 Bar. It's a karaoke bar with a bit above average girls and higher drink prices than most Soi 6 bars. But the atmosphere is more like a gentleman's club with lots of fun games.

2. Then came "O" (Oochi). Early evening, got a message from a girl named "O," which is short for Oochi. "O" used to work Sapphire and now makes her money off ThaiFriendly. "O" wanted my opinion with a new tattoo. Ironically, both her and I are "cancers" in astrology and she was showing me a few options she was interested in. Sometimes I have to wonder, is this entire year spent in Pattaya, my Heaven, or was it a trap and my Hell? I am not a retiree. I don't receive a pension. I don't have a business or am studying in Thailand. I am not on disability. I don't work remotely or even at all. And not even sure when the last time I filed taxes. I am what I am, perhaps first, the only, and the last, homeless, jobless, nomadic, sex mongering gypsy in the entire world, but still living the vacation life in Thailand. But man, that sure does attract plenty of attention here in Pattaya because all the stories I've told when I previously so often came as a "weekend warrior," apparently are not stories at all. Especially, since I am still here with nowhere I need to be. And within this past year, I could feel the heat from these locals. Everybody trying to get in your business to what exactly does the Monkeypaw do? I had a dream that seemed so real. Some poor soul from Treetown, tried a set up with intention of extorting the Paw with his so called brown suit connections. I must look like a naive easy target to the untrained eye. The Big Boss found out and the un-named little eatery at Treetown disappeared along with its hopeless owner. Hint: Watch out for Thais that can speak English well but still working their asses off. My message is simple. People, let me relax, and enjoy whatever time that is left before I don on my spacesuit and go back to doing what I do best. My time playing spy and Trojan horse is almost over. But this was only a dream or was it?

Where to eat? I guess this Cheapie Charlie life is the best the world has to offer if you use your brain and have the know how. Let me help you find cheap eats for less than 40 baht a meal combined with entertainment and a view. The trick here is to use those delivery apps like Food Panda or Hungry Now. You get a 100 baht discount as a new user. Limitless VOIP numbers with apps and multiple emails can make these discounts, like herpes, a gift that keeps on giving. I often get large 15 inch fresh and hot, Margherita pizzas for 65 baht and Thai food dishes for even cheaper, all restaurant quality, no need to cook. But I definitely do feel guilty on the styrofoam and plastic they send. Combine these take outs and delivery with the right bar or liquor van, that just serve alcohol, and you have a very cheap dinner, drinks, and entertainment night. Lunch time, I often go to Terminal 21 at Pier 21. Sure it's 10 baht there and 10 baht back, but the price their food around 40 baht, even for fish and chips. By the way, if the big girl behind the counter, tells you they are out of fish and chips, she's just being lazy or doesn't like you. Anyways, I like to dine in and then order an extra dish to put in my own tupperware. What they give you is not sturdy, leaks, and they charge you 5 baht for less food to take away. The fun thing at Pier 21 is often your will see bar girls there without their make up. It's like Halloween everyday of you look hard enough. Fun fun while having lunch. But Monkeypaw still likes to play chef and cook his own food, but I no longer invite girls to stay and eat. Too personal and it's unwanted attention during times like this. So my three F's in the past (fuck, food, fifty baht for taxi) is now just one F. I wonder am I cheap?

Where to stay? Hotels and condos are no more than 10,000 baht for room and utilities. Maytara, P Plus, and LK Metropole are my picks for best at 10,000 baht. Stay away from AirBnB and Agoda. Book one or two nights and then walk around exploring. You will find decent rooms from 6500-10,000 per month all inclusive. I often move around room to room, just because it's safer that way for me. So far after one year, I've stayed 8 different places. Anonymity and privacy is still the best defense against the locals and the girls, especially when staying here this long. Don't need to be tracked and traced, not that I do anything wrong.

Where them hos at? As for girls, I have my small stable of girls, and all at 1300 short time GFE. This list includes a What's Up model (used to drop 10-12,000 baht on her), a Unixx leasing agent that I see once a week just for sex (no food or meet outside my room), and a light skinned ThaiFriendly chick who is half Thai / European. All 3 girls are slim, 22-23 years old, 40-41 kilos, with natural perky tits, tight bubble butts, a lovely faces, just like Monkeypaw likes them. A couple of times a week, I will branch out and test the waters (I pay no more than 1500 for Panda Club girls, Insomnia girls, TF girls, and Gogo or bar girls for 1 hour before work or off day), but I keep going back to my 3 amigas. The best girls are not gone and some went online OnlyFans or some other cam sites. Most of the ones I reviewed are gone. Bliss and Palace combined ladies, but still not many girls as Pin Up. Some of the girls left with one of the Palace mamas to got to Dolls LK. About 70% of LK is open, but only Lady Love and Queen is tolerable with some Sapphire leftovers. Baccara is closed but some girls manage to wiggle their ample asses to Golden Time Buakahao. I went there to get a free drink on St. Patty's but I guess they didn't consider the Paw Irish or green enough. Many of the Go Go clubs that reopened back then, like Sensations and Kink, did not make it this time around and are closed. And for what is open, the quality that's left now, is not that great. Let me repeat myself, most of the hotter girls are not dancing on stage at this time. But every dude has his own taste, and there still are a few gems here and there and everywhere. You can definitely forget the Beach Road (eww), unless you are out doing some cardio speed walking while needing to looking at poon or the homeless. And forget Soi 6. The few girls that are left, are too busy inside with the live video feeds, trying to get drinks and gifts from "we wish we were there guys" stuck in their home country. So as for the entire Soi 6, there is no people watching going on because the girls are rarely on the streets luring in customers (because there few of them too.) It sucks but operates more like a brothel without their best. And Slice Pizza is more expensive at the store than on the app. Ridiculous!
