I had a MILF over for drinks and she stuck around for many hours.

First of all, this was over 3 years ago, I'm sure things are much better in Thailand now. All I know is, where I was and where I am now sucks, and Thailand is awesome, especially Bangkok. When you've been to Bangkok, how can any of this be happening? But check it out though, the chick in the report is 38 while her husband is 63? Like what? And he's not even a sexpat guy, he's just some village farmer dude. What's going on? She's not attractive at all, the type that old, bald, fat and ugly sexpat Danny Devito types like to hang out with. When I watch reports like this, I just get so confused. I tell ya though fellas, if all this be true, why aren't more of us making the most of it? Just saying. Why live like some asshole in the west, when you can be almost god like in south east Asia? He walked all over Klong Toey, so he must know what he's talking about. So no poverty in Thailand? Look at this guy making blanket statements about Thai people specifically and Asian people in general. Like he's some expert. And he's probably making thousands just saying shit to the camera. Yes you can do that, but like you said if the Thai tax department monitors cash exchanges (have to provide your passport) when exchanging back to baht. Although yes that is something that will take a while to do. Not an easy task.

Withdraw cash from a foreign ATM using your US bank card. Then, change $ to baht in that country.

If I run short of cash in my Thai bank account in 2024, I will have to come with ways to have sufficient baht in Thailand without having to pay income tax in Thailand.

If you take any trips to neighboring countries, you can withdraw cash from ATMs and bring the cash into Thailand.

At some point, the tax department will monitor currency exchange transactions, but I don't think we are there yet.

Yes you can do that, but like you said if the Thai tax department monitors cash exchanges (have to provide your passport) when exchanging back to baht. Although yes that is something that will take a while to do. Not an easy task.

I wrote a post a long time ago about getting a visa renewel in phuket. I wrote what I needed etc. I went looking for it bc I need to get my visa renewed but the first bunch of my posts no longer are there. Does this place delete old posts after so long?

This is for those with no experiece. I needed to extend my visa. I have been here almost 1 month and did not get the visa extension at the airport. I am an American. I went to the immigration office at Phuket Town. It was the closest to me. All I had to do was fill out form, show passport, make a couple of copies of different pages of passport, get a passport photo and pay. The people at the immigration office were friendly and helpful. The process was quick.

Some things you will need are a pen, address of where you are staying, departure ticket and I think that was it. I didn't have departure ticket and it was not a problem at all. It cost me 1900 baht, plus 126 baht for photo and copies.

If leaving the US you can carry up to 10 K when departing on International flight. If more than you have to file FinCen form 105 with CBP at departure airport without problems or risking confiscation. I would be curious if this amount of money would be reported to country of arrival. I will always be making 3 trips a year so at minimum I can bring 30 K without worrying about taxes.

The guy at the desk at the gym I go to said he could get my visa extension from the immigration office for me and save me the trip. I paid him 2700 baht yesterday. Gave him my passport and photo. I got it back today. I wasnt aware things could be done this way.

To get my visa extended is it better to go the the immigration office in Bangkok or Pattaya? Which is usually quicker? I have only been to immigration office in Phuket and that was easy and quick. Also when I got to Thailand they only stamped me for one month. Is that how it works now? When I was here pre covid it was two months visa on arrival. Thanks for any advice.
