I wrote a post a long time ago about getting a visa renewel in phuket. I wrote what I needed etc. I went looking for it bc I need to get my visa renewed but the first bunch of my posts no longer are there. Does this place delete old posts after so long?

If I have this correct I can bring 20,000 USD without Declaration in to Thailand every tine I enter. If I want a ton of money in to Thailand I would keep my money in a Vietnam or Laos bank then bring in 20,000 USD for myself and each of the Thai girls I have taken away on a weekend trip. Same goes if I want to export money out of Thailand if I owned a profitable bar. Go on weekly trips with a bunch of Thai girls and it's 20,000 USD allowed to be taken out by each person.

Now certainly no one on here would be doing that, right?

If leaving the US you can carry up to 10 K when departing on International flight. If more than you have to file FinCen form 105 with CBP at departure airport without problems or risking confiscation. I would be curious if this amount of money would be reported to country of arrival. I will always be making 3 trips a year so at minimum I can bring 30 K without worrying about taxes.

You are comparing apples to oranges. Going on a date with a normal chick is not the same as hooker hunting. If I am going on a normal date then of course I may put on something decent. If I am going out to pick up hookers then there is no need.

My statement is based on my experiences. yours may or may not be different. I know for a fact if I walk around Pattaya with long pants, a collared shirt, and dress shoes I get much more attention than in "slob" clothing. Even walking into gogo bars I visit often the girls' reactions are different. Now if I walked around Soi 25 and Beach Road I absolutely agree you can look like you have 5,000 baht to your name and no girl would think any less of you.
