As I alluded to in another thread, the surprising thing to me is the shaving requirement is the one most likely to go off the schedule and get them dropped. Weird. One would think it would be the BBBJ+CIM+Swallow. But no.

I'm no expert or a hair scientist but I may have an explanation. There was a time when I shaved my pubic hair. No, not gay. After the first shave it feels really good but in one or two days, the area would feel extremely itchy and many times, pimples would form because of an ingrown hair. In order to prevent this, I had to apply lotion and a special cream constantly. In time I learned special techniques to help such as prepping the skin with exfoliating washes, steam and hot towels. Shaving my face takes less than 5 minutes. Shaving my crotch and thighs took half an hour. Repeated shaving only made it worse as the hair became thick and increasingly irritating and prone to ingrown hair. The only relief I had was when I didn't have a photo shoot or a competition and I could let the stubble grow out a bit.

This is why many girls often let it grow out as well. It feels good to not have an itchy, pimply crotch. Having hair feels good and I do not want to go back to the days of having to shave at all. Yes, I did try waxing but it is not cheap when added up. Also, you cannot wax too often. To keep it bare smooth constantly I could not wax.
