But to say something like "Members need to be present in Bangkok or Pattaya and active in the scene" to participate seems childish and petty.

The problem is not members who are now locked out of Thailand but were here before. The problem is members who have not contributed a single info in years (all postings off topic or mere digressions / discussions). These are easy to spot. Others who recycle posts not their own and who answer their own posts under different aliases, are more difficult to spot (except when they go on doing so in threads relating to countries where prostitution and mongering has been in the grip of a hard lockdown for over a year).

Pity there's no referral system. At least I can certify MonkeyPaw is very real and is in Pattaya. If only the membership of the forum consisted only in members as real as he is and with boots as much on the ground as his are !

Monkey paws reports how much ever dramatic has actionable information the forum members may use. Even mutant chicken who spews scorn in every other post of his provides tips that help newbies. MPs posts are written in a style that is a good read in this forum. Wouldn't be surprised if he is a published writer or columnist.

Look, I lie and cheat, too. But not when it comes to money. You probably would have achieved the same goal by just saying the order was incorrect. The lie that you "had to give away the pizzas because of the bacon" was probably unnecessary.

I just really don't understand the mentality. I order food where they get it wrong sometimes. If I ordered (e. G. Burger w / o pickles) and they got the order wrong, sure, I could write to the delivery app that my order was wrong and I threw out the burger while enjoying it with a bottle of cold beer. But I'd feel like shit doing it. I'm not saying this to say I'm better than you. I'm just wondering why you'd basically say "no value was provided to me" when clearly, value was provided as you ate the food.

There should be a private section on this forum where only members who have met in person can access. Members also need to be present in Bangkok or Pattaya and active in the scene (ie. able to write current bar and girl reviews).

Honestly, some of you guys have this grandiose sense of self worth. Like you're doing this world a huge favor with your reviews and others have lesser value because they don't contribute as much. Most people here are probably NOT in a position to be posting reports regularly. When I am in a position to, I'll be sharing a LOT. I hobby mostly in the US, so most of my contributions are on another site (HX) where I'm one of the more active members and a moderator.

My pet peeve is when people who ARE mongering don't post info for others to benefit from. It's selfish, as people only take and not give. But it's a different story here. Since this is an "internationalsexguide", most users probably only visit once every year or two. The hope and expectation is that they'll contribute/report once they're able.

Wonder what the snow flakes who complain about monkey paws outrageous writing would do if they read the former 'The Departed'(may he never rise again) on a regular basis. I was not around in his peak but have read some of the vile content he wrote. His reports may contain actionable info, but not many would have the stomach to do what he does. This pandemic would have been the departed ideal time as he seems to thrive on people's misery.

SNIP...Onwards ho to Slice Pizza nearby! 125 baht for a Bacon Supreme 9 inch (hold the bacon). Buy 1 get 1 Free. Plus 60 baht off voucher So 2 Bacon Supreme 9 inch pizza minus the bacon (my choice) came out to 65 baht for both.

And yes, the Slice Pizza staff looked at me funny, as if I just robbed them when I picked up my order. Here comes the kicker. They must have not been able to read English too well and kept the bacon on. I just carried it away, took a photo, picked off the bacon, fed it to some soi dogs, and ate my pizzas while relaxing on the beach sidewalk. I was munching away and staring at all the sweaty people exercising up, down, up, down. When Monkeypaw was done, satisfied, and full, I made a quick complaint to customer service on the food app about how I was Muslim and had to give away the pizzas because of the bacon. Eventually, the Paw got a 100 baht refund. So the pizzas were free, plus I made a positive 35 baht. What a lucky day! Cheap Charlie? Smart and Savvy? Or Smooth Criminal? ...SNIP

'My take on this is unlike many of the posters here MP provides some interesting intel if not the location of his finds but at least there are pics so you can gauge the quality of available women for your own hunts. You have to hand it to the MP from Pattaya, he knows which buttons to push to get a reaction. He follows Oscar Wilde's maxim that "there is only one thing in the world worse than being talked about and that is not being talked about". Of course some his tales are no more than Walter Mitty flights of fancy intended merely to excite a reaction. That said on the plus side he has a relatively simplistic literary style and he does not react to the negative posts some of which are truly beyond the pale. He enjoys the notoriety along with his cohort of followers and in at least one obvious instance his alter ego. All in all I personally find his posts adolescently amusing and even sometimes informative and I have no doubt having another member talking about him will warm the cockles of his little heart.
