Ukraine doesn't get to self-certify, they'll have to show real and measurable results.

Besides, whatever Ukraine's past or present problems, nothing justifies Putin's naked aggression. And nothing requires Ukraine to lay down and die. So the logical response is to kill as many Orcs as possible and shove the shards of their bones up Putin's ass. That should probably achieve the desired result, especially if the shards are shoved deep and with a firm twisting motion.

If, as I fully expect, Ukraine experiences a post-war construction and business boom (especially as EU integration nears) it's very likely that there will be an equally strong inflow of returnees and other immigrants.

Also, with the arrival of the newest air defenses, Ukraine has become highly efficient at intercepting Orc-missile attacks. That doesn't mean the danger is past, but it does reduce the pressure on people in Kyiv and other areas.

Some of it is, and much that's been destroyed has already been rebuilt. Have you seen photos of the reconstructed areas of Bucha?
