Same deal. Nicholas Hoult as Peter III is so fucking funny the writers won't kill him off. If they stuck to history, Catherine should have killed him off early-to-mid season two. He's likely going to be around for season three.
What does this have to do with ISG? Not particularly much other than in "The Great" Peter III fucks anything and everyone including his mother-in-law (Gillian Anderson).
I caught the 1st episode of "The Great" last night. I thought is was pretty good satire. The Peter III character is written as a 1st rate dildo. He fucking shot the bear! But as the Mel Brooks King character said in French Revolution segment of "the History of the World part 1", "It's good to be the King". Ha Ha.

LOL, nah, not even close. The Great is just a slapstick comedy. It's hilarious at times, but there is no history there; the only "historic" things are a few names, and some of them are terribly mispronounced.
In the meantime, creators of Dom meticulously worked with Pedro's father, and from some articles I've read, he wasn't the easiest person to work with. So, no, a much higher factual level there, although clearly a few things about Pedro got embellished.
Dom is a really good drama. Tight script, great acting, and yeah, it doesn't hurt that the sex scenes are awesome, LOL.
Real Pedro Dom dies the same day, soon after that shootout with the Police in the tunnel, so the second season is unlikely.
On a slightly different note, I loved the series too, but real Dom was not a "gentleman bandit" he was portrayed on the silver screen. Real bandits never are, LOL.
Wow, I did not know this. This Dom guy must have been a real crazy mother fucker. KKK. Still, reality never stood in the way of film producers trying to make a buck. They didn't kill the fictional Dom off in the series for a reason and no official word on a 2nd season has been issued by Amazon yet, so we will just have to wait and see.
Have you seen "The Great" on Hulu?

Hi Cane, Yeah I thought Dom was an entertaining series. The way the show ended with Dom burning all his bridges to the normal, respectable life of his father indicates a 2nd season was definitely on the mind of the producers and writers. I think a lot of viewers would like to see a 2nd season too with Dom fully embracing the criminal life and of course more of Isabella Santoni and Raquel Villar. A mnage a trois would be highly in order if you ask me. KKK. But it is up to Amazon Prime boys and so far, they have made no announcements.
P.S. I really like Bomboa. It is my 2nd favorite Boate in SP. I never had an opportunity to visit the old location, but the new one is fine as far as I am concerned. It is the opposite of Scandallo. No glamour and glitz here, just a friendly neighborhood bordello where everyone knows your name. Yeah, I think I shagged Isabella Santoni's older sister there one night. She was a tigress in bed. KKK.

I wish Amazon Prime Video would do another season of "Dom". Isabella Santoni (photos attached) has a role in that show. I fucked a branca I pulled out of the old Bomboa location who looked like her (sans the blue eyes though, and with bigger tits). Used to get a fucking boner watching her knowing I fucked "that". Well kind of haha!

Thanks for the tip. I have added it to My List in Netflix and will give it a look. Meanwhile I have found another Netflix series that looks like it might appeal to my girls and I called "Kleo". It is about a sexy East German Stasi assassin who is betrayed by her own people and sent to prison. She is freed after the Berlin Wall is torn down and she is hell bent on revenge against her former colleagues. It's a dark comedy as the dead bodies mount.

Better call Saul ended pretty good (he defected through a SUNROOF!
Ozark not so much unfortunately although I understand her affinity with the Ruth langmore character.
Something about a curly haired foul mouth trailer park punk really does something for me too.
Lots of great characters on that show but that ending was a real stinker.
Due to contractual arrangements with AMC "Better Call Saul" Season 6 is not currently being shown on Netflix USA. There is an easy get around, however; just select Brazil as the home country on your VPN. But I am holding off watching the final episodes so I can watch them with Sheila in October. I am a romantic guy. KKK.
Then she would like "Inventing Anna". Kind of a from rags to riches (and back to rags) story, with the same actress, Julia Garner.
