Managing a health crisis in Ph would be difficult. Poorly resourced hospitals to start with plus people live and work in much closer proximities.

When I first started working in Ph I thought those annual 5 workplace medical tests were a form of discrimination.

Until we had a new employee return a positive TB test which had they remained untreated could have taken out our entire workforce.

Covid does not exist. People get sick (detox) from bad diet, frequencies, fluoride, plant toxins like oxalate, medications, flu / childhood vaccines and environmental toxins. Had I passed another stranger outside (who was infectious with Covid), the odds of us getting physically close enough to transmit it would have been minimal (the other guy would have been across the street, or we would have passed each other at the time with a healthy distance. But, pinoy are superstitious.

Or maybe the whole world is superstitious. My dad came over last week saying his throat was hurting and he thinks he has covid. He has been vaxed and boosted. I gave him a test and it was positive. I took a test and it was negative. I have not had any vax and was around my dad without a mask for a few hours. I am still fine. He just called a few minutes ago and said he is better now.

My friend, if you take the trouble to check even the mainstream news online, several American and British pilots, who were mandated or coerced into getting the shots, have become sick or died -- some in-flight, or shortly afterwards.

I post here because of my interest in the Philippines and their maniacal following of the Covid cult.

Ya, that might be a good description. The locals are like lemmings. Its still 99% + with the masks, although there is more incorrect application (under the nose or chin). I'd guess that if the government told everyone tomorrow that its safe to ditch their masks, a month later 25% would still be wearing one. The mask has become integrated into their psyche. I believe that I have reported at least once that locals, during the first few months of the lockdown, warned me repeatedly not to go outside. Door guards, front desk staff, local friends. "Westy its not safe you go in the outside. Covid!" That was factually incorrect, as nobody was moving outside. If I had been ragingly sick and infectious with Covid, I could not have given it to anyone outside, as there was nobody else on the street to give it to. But given my previous reporting over the past 2 years of the craziness of so many different leaders instituting so many different local rules, and given the tendency of uneducated people to be superstitious, "rational" doesn't really come into play. Not to mention masking AND plastic shields in 95F heat.

To be fair, that was in 2020, a few months into the pandemic. The country was seeing a real uptick in cases and deaths. I believe that the added face shield was a knee-jerk reaction, a terrible waste of money and time, and it created a lot of physical waste for the land-fills. I think the Administration was willing to attempt anything to stop the spread. More soon.

I love it! So, a pilot was vaxxed in 2021, and boostered in February 2022. He has been fine, with no symptoms before or during Covid. I board a trans-pacific flight with him at the helm, and he is fine. You are saying that he might mentally or physically fall apart and die during that ocean crossing?

The USA approved Covid vaccines for 6-month-old infants in June 2022 and Australia just did so yesterday. If you were wondering why you have not been affected, they come in 3 flavors (by secret lot number): saline placebo, slow-kill/sterilant and fast-kill. See my post in General Info (Philippines). I am fully vaxxed + boostered, so probably caught it there, because symptoms developed 2 days after I got back to Singapore. It was pretty bad in the sense that first 3-4 days I had a nasty dry cough. Then low fever and general aches and pains plus felt exhausted / tired all the time for about 10 days.

Not that facts are likely to sway you but in 2021 in the US 600 kids died from Covid. Zero died from Covid Vaccine. You can look up CDC data. So your statement above is blatantly untrue.

Well my original post on this forum here (and to which my updated post here referred to) was specifically about my experience with the vax record regulations leaving the Philippines and going to Bkk, and there was a bit of an overlap in my post between the 2 countries, but I think it would have been of interest to those like me travelling from the Philippines to Thailand.

My update post on the face mask situation in BKK which you referred to, was posted in this Philippine forum because my original post in the Philippines forum mentioned the mask situation in Bkk.
