LMAO and no it isn't readily available as pertinent info, but people that are showing up to the airport are having to spend extra time while checking in, to download the app and register. I posted the process to be helpful but it seems that since there isn't a direct link on the internet it is deemed as false or unsubstantiated. If you have ever read any of my posts from many different countries they are always factual. Nobody has ever said that Beavis lied. LOL. Spend 10 minutes at home and do what I am advising (and yes I agree it is stupid) or show up at the airport hungover and / or tired and do it then. Beavis isn't a pot stirrer, he tries to help people. I live in the Philippines and report from first hand reports that come from people that have been there, done that.
Checklist that might be useful if travelling to Philippines.
Passport with at least 6 months validity.
PCR test with printed result certificate with sample taken within 48 hours before your plane leaves. Result certificate must have a QR code on it.
Covid Travel Insurance with certificate printed.
One health pass certificate, with printed QR code..
Hi Beavis,
What is this traze app? And for covid insurance I signed up with safetywing.com which lists covid coverage but no "certificate". Do you think I will get hassled? Arriving Feb. 17. Thanks.
Goodness another hoop to jump through. Are these girls worth all of this?? Well after 50 trips since 2004 my answer is ABSOLUTELY.

All incoming travellers to the Philippines are mandated to use the One Health Pass registration system. This applies to:
Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs)
Non-OFWs, and
Foreign Nationals
In short, all passengers bound for the Philippines from abroad regardless of their nationality or profession must apply for the One Health Pass registration to get a QR code and present it to authorities.
Now you have read it.

I don't recall reading that we have to register with www.onehealthpass.com/ph in any of the requirements I have read. I will if need be but am not going to if its not needed.
You will find out that you do need it.

Is the supplemental insurance still required if you already have health insurance coverage from your home country? My company issued health insurance covers me when I travel internationally, does this not matter to the authorities in the PI?
You get a statement from your insurance company showing the foreign coverage.
Obtain, prior to arrival, a travel insurance for COVID-19 treatment costs from reputed insurers, with a minimum coverage of USD 35,000. 00 for the duration of their stay in the Philippines.

You have posted some sensible advice, and others contemplating coming here would do well to heed it. I don't know the extent to which my comments about Davao, where I live, are generalizable to the rest of the country, but here at least restrictions are still in place: everyone is masked at all times outside of the house; bars and restaurants may not sell alcohol; public indoor venues may only accommodate a fraction of their full capacity, and people here comply with the rules. Any foreigner coming here thinking that the rules will not apply to him is in for an unpleasant surprise. My advice to anyone considering coming here is to wait for another 4-6 weeks during which time the rules may be relaxed slightly and recreational facilities may start to open again. Right now, this city is not a lot of fun.
GE.
Exactly, the rules do seem to be easing off a bit. Still required to show proof of vax to enter either Clark or SBMA but if you just hold up a copy of anything that looks like a vax card they wave you through. Royal on SBMA no longer asking for vax cards at least not when I went in. Went into Harbor Point twice in 1 day, different entrances. One wanted card the other didn't. Alcohol ban lifted in AC, with no curfew. Barretto still has 12 PM curfew but didn't have these second rounds of alcohol ban. Mask still must be worn in public. Inside the bars / restaurants not required. Contract tracing forms pretty much hit and miss. Who knows what will happen tomorrow. The rules could slip away or become very enforced? The cops haven't had much shakedown / hustle money in a long time. If I were a betting man I would bet that many tourists will be slapped with a fine if they remove their mask in public. Stay tuned, the show starts tomorrow.

It doesn't surprise me that there is a sliding level of compliance across the various cities and regions. It just mirrors their attitudes to non-'Rona related rules. Just look at safety walking back streets at 3 am and taxi driver honesty in Davao vs AC. A world of difference pre and post pandemic.
A monger "might" be able to have a more enjoyable holiday in AC than Davao now. BUT if things are not to his liking it's going to be difficult to move somewhere else or find better opportunities.
Some people live to argue on the internet. I expressed my opinion of how things are here, having lived here through the pandemic. If anyone isn't interested in anything I have to say then they can just proceed to the next post. I am confident the ice cream eating imbecile will not enjoy himself.

Here is the Before picture to Beavis' After. Many years of telling bozos to fuck off will do that to you.
