    More bullshit.

Obtain, prior to arrival, a travel insurance for COVID-19 treatment costs from reputed insurers, with a minimum coverage of USD 35,000. 00 for the duration of their stay in the Philippines.
Is the supplemental insurance still required if you already have health insurance coverage from your home country? My company issued health insurance covers me when I travel internationally, does this not matter to the authorities in the PI?

Any foreigner coming here thinking that the rules will not apply to him is in for an unpleasant surprise. My advice to anyone considering coming here is to wait for another 4-6 weeks during which time the rules may be relaxed slightly and recreational facilities may start to open again. Right now, this city is not a lot of fun.

Exactly, the rules do seem to be easing off a bit. Still required to show proof of vax to enter either Clark or SBMA but if you just hold up a copy of anything that looks like a vax card they wave you through. Royal on SBMA no longer asking for vax cards at least not when I went in. Went into Harbor Point twice in 1 day, different entrances. One wanted card the other didn't. Alcohol ban lifted in AC, with no curfew. Barretto still has 12 PM curfew but didn't have these second rounds of alcohol ban. Mask still must be worn in public. Inside the bars / restaurants not required. Contract tracing forms pretty much hit and miss. Who knows what will happen tomorrow. The rules could slip away or become very enforced? The cops haven't had much shakedown / hustle money in a long time. If I were a betting man I would bet that many tourists will be slapped with a fine if they remove their mask in public. Stay tuned, the show starts tomorrow.

It doesn't surprise me that there is a sliding level of compliance across the various cities and regions. It just mirrors their attitudes to non-'Rona related rules. Just look at safety walking back streets at 3 am and taxi driver honesty in Davao vs AC. A world of difference pre and post pandemic.

A monger "might" be able to have a more enjoyable holiday in AC than Davao now. BUT if things are not to his liking it's going to be difficult to move somewhere else or find better opportunities.

Am I going to have to settle for masked dancers and can't even walk around eating an ice cream? Any intel ngr?
Someone with 15 posts is telling me I should add intel. That is about as good of intel as you can get. I told how it is, and I know the typical visitor to the Philippines that thinks he is above everyone else (please go look in the mirror). Scroll on, you are obviously someone who adds nothing.

No I wouldn't give up on a top tier destination so easily. Either wait some more till the insanity wears off or run around with a mask dispensation which would be annoying af but could run around eating melona ice cream. I read some of his posts during the last 2 years I don't see any need to moralize tho or at least post it in stupid shit thread.

Good advice when visiting any country, right?

Beavis has been living in Phils since before the pandemic. He has provided a number of good BOTG reports during the pandemic. Suggest you RTTF thru the AC thread regarding his posts.

Did you think there is a problem enforcing masks, curfews, social distancing, or other mandates here? Suggest you RTTF. Mask-wearing is pretty much universal here. I would guess that its possible to go outside without a mask for a walk and not be seen by the authorities. But what's the fun of that if you can't go into any business without a mask, a temp check, and filling out a contact tracing form? Social distancing is required inside every business. Restaurant's seats and tables are modified for social-distancing. You want to find the places that don't do those things? Walk along Burgos and look at the number of restos that have had their doors closed by the government for staying open too late, or having too many customers inside, or defying the alcohol ban when it was in place.

Not sure about the masked dancers, as the bulk of gogo bars have been closed. Those re-opened have changed themselves into restaurants. The barfine system has been upended, and I understand it still exists somewhat in AC / Subic.

Would that be bad? Would you let that stop you from hammering mocha beauty? Columbia, Germany, or Turkey might be your call.

People here have missed out on a lot since Covid hit and every chance they see to take advantage of you they will. Don't develop an attitude because think you shouldn't have to follow a certain set of rules. You will be asked to fill out a contract tracing form pretty much everywhere you go with name, address, phone#, ect, you are required to wear a facemask at all times in public. Also you will have to have your temperature taken and show proof of vaccination to enter most establishments. That's just how things are now so if you have even a slight problem with this stay home. The cops would have no problem whatsoever of hauling you to the Barangay hall and / or extorting money from you. If you are anti-vaccination you definitely don't want to come here. To begin with you probably won't be able to board a flight but if you did get here without being vaxed there is very little you will be able to do.

There is still plenty of fun to be had but get used to having your temperature taken and filling out a form every time you go anywhere. If you go to 3 restaurants a day and 10 bars yes you will fill out 13 forms and have your temperature taken 13 times. Granted there are some places that are a little more relaxed than others but look for the cops to be on the prowl to fine any foreigner that thinks their rules do not apply..

    Rubber Down, Rubber Up

    https://www.rt.com/business/545703-c...ine-lockdowns/

Seems condom sales are down 40% but rubber glove sales are up. Drooped condoms are explained by no mongers and less cok smuggling. Increased rubber gloves, well we all know who is into that "stupid shit in the Philippines."

We would have to take the findings as valid as per https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pornhub "As of June 2020, Pornhub is the 10th most trafficked website in the world and the third most-trafficked adult website after XVideos and XNXX".

Pornhub's philanthropic (ha ha) efforts are here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pornhub#Philanthropy The Eileen Stein Jacoby Fund is into breast cancer. Maybe some guys here should ask for help for their favourite cancers.
