Its always funny when Member here are complaining about Koreans doing Peso showers etc in AC. But many Citizens from The US are doing the same in e. G. Sosua / DomRep, Medellin / Colombia or other places in South America. They are the Koreans there making it rain with their "bucks"! This is nothing Korean specific.

With paying 100 $ for ST (and "tipping") and seeing nothing unusual in that they f* up places up so much like no Korean ever did in AC. I have seen too much of that already and tired of reading this Korean 3/3/3 BS, but your fellow Countrymen doing the same in other places.

How do you explain that?

It is true that the girls enjoy the Koreans splashing pesos around. The Koreans do this simply because it is the only way that the Koreans can compete. Other than the peso rain, most Filipinas find the Koreans uncouth chain-smoking louts, which is pretty accurate. The DPS has been cleaning up Manila namely the tondo and divisoria area basically only hurting the poorest of the poor in manila. SNIP I still consider their family to be dirt poor. The Philippines never ceases to maze me how backwards and unreasonable they really can be.

I watched the first part of the second video. Not only DPS, but various Brgy routinely roust or move the homeless. On Durban (corner Makati Ave), down to the Fersal area, people sleep near the BDO and across the street near the business next to North Park Noodles. Just around the corner on Kalayaan in the center divider (between the potted plants) also. Every 10-15 days the Brgy rousts all of them out of there. They are gone for 4-5 days (many move to Jupiter St or Burgos down near the Catholic church), then back. A similar thing exists under the Skyway along the Buendia / Arnaiz area. The Brgy sweeps in at sunup and moves everyone out. Sometimes they get to take what they can carry and the Brgy takes the rest. Other times they don't get to keep anything. The Brgy occasionally makes a sweep along Burgos from Makati Ave to the far end at Makati Ave, taking everything that the street girls have laying about (cardboard mattress, bag of clothes they use for a pillow, sweater to keep warm at night). Sometimes the girls can go get it back as long as they move somewhere else.

It seems cruel. I am sure there is a reason. Or a rule.

Endless piles of trash the DPS could be picking up instead they are out in force seizing motorbikes and food from people who have nothing making it almost impossible for the poorest among them to survive. They have now come out with a metric to calculate if you are rich. If you spend more than 18.62 pesos on a meal you are RICH! Considering I know of a little girl in the province that eats the equivalent of about 250-500 pesos a day on snacks alone from the sarisari store and I still consider their family to be dirt poor. The Philippines never ceases to maze me how backwards and unreasonable they really can be.
