Thanks for the report. Do you mean Cha Am or Hua hin? I can't figure out which area you mean. Can you recommend a hotel near by?

Sorry for the confusion. I meant the Cha-am Beach area, not Hua Hin. I've attached the map with Soi Bus Station marked. I stayed at Asia Cha-am Hotel (visible on the map). It was an okay stay. I booked it due to the sea view rooms. But the distance to the Soi Bus Stations is more than 1 KM. So I would recommend you to book somewhere around "Ban Lan Suan Resort. " (You can see it on the map). I saw some nice boutique and villa-type hotels there. Also, very close to the action.

I visited Cha-am around two months ago. It was just a random visit I found interesting on the map. The town feels like it didn't recover from COVID. Almost half of the shops are still off. I have noticed local Thai tourists visiting the town a lot. Only beer bars are available. Almost all of them are located around Soi Bus Station. There are around 10-12 bars in total. Each has 3 to 7 girls but is mostly empty and has almost no tourists. I know the quantity is low, but when you are the only one mongering. It was easy to pick up whoever I wanted.

On the first day, I mainly looked at the girls to see if I find someone attractive. Found one lady in her 30's. Had a drink and bought her a beer. Her English was very good. Asked about the price. It's 300 BF + 1500 LT overnight. Took her to the hotel. It was my mistake to book the hotel almost 1 KM away. We had 2 rounds at night, then 1 more in the morning. She was very friendly and provided all the services I asked. She stayed until 10 AM, had breakfast with me, and then left.

On day 2. Went again around 10 PM. As you can guess, most of the girls in the bars already know me because I was walking around yesterday. Found another beautiful lady (She is 29). But she doesn't understand English at all. So she had to keep her friend with her to continue the conversation. I bought beer for both of them. Asked about the pricing, and it was the same. 300 BF + 1500 LT overnight. But they were trying to convince me to pick both of them. But I didn't like the other girl much. So I picked the girl I liked and went to the hotel. Used Google Translate to communicate. It was her first day in the town, so she was asking to pick her friend with her. But she felt comfortable after spending a few minutes with me. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had. She was genuinely trying to please and giving her best effort. We had two rounds at night, then slept. Woke up and one more round, and she left around 9 AM.

It was not a bad couple of days, to be honest. It's a good place for 3-4 days. After 3-4 days, maybe all the girls will know your face.

But for mongering, it seems you really got to like the beer bar scene to enjoy it here. If you do, then you can't complain about an overnight for 2000+500+LD. Still, my 1 bad shag was enough for this trip, and next time I'll focus my attention on my swimming and golf game before heading to Philippines for the wild ass boom sessions.

Great report. I saw a report recently that tourism to Thailand is down from this time last year. I was in Hua Hin in May of last year and it was not very busy then and a lot of the bars were still closed. When I went back in October of last year most bars were open and there were more tourists. I still plan to return to Hua Hin because I love to sit and people watch.

On one hand, got to say that, except for the one noisy road / highway splitting straight through town, it's a really nice place to chill. Despite the nasty heat wave (35 degrees everyday), my condo had a fantastic pool where I swam twice a day. My motorcycle expeditions around / outside of town were very pleasant, and I had fun sampling Market Village / Bluport food court street food for just 100 baht each night. I didn't find Hua Hin food that great overall (Terminal 21 BKK / Pattaya much better, and Italian / German restaurants didn't justify high prices), but the town vibe is quite cool and I'll make it a regular stopping point outside of Bangkok. I much prefer it to the overwhelming Disneyland atmosphere of Pattaya.

The Hua Hin girl scene is another matter. The beer bar scene just doesn't do anything for me, and even on the weekend, there wasn't much excitement. I wandered through Bintabaht one night and only saw a couple ladies that might have appealed to me, but the atmosphere didn't inspire, so I opted to go home and watch NHL highlights (LOL)..

But both were lacking in the looks and youth department, so I had made the considered decision to go for fun, and got it.

I was in Hua Hin 21-24 this month.

Must say I found it quite disappointing compared to previous visits, both in Soi 80, and Bintabaht, tho didn't go to Soi 94.

Did see some quite attractive younger ladies around, both already taken and free in bars, around Bintabaht.

I did get my rocks off each night in Soi 80 and long time take homes.

Interestingly, the prices remained the same as before, 300-500 baht barfines or short time room charges for on premises action.

Short time to the girls of 1000 baht, and long time overnight multipop action for 2000 baht still.

I wandered over to Soi 80 another night and it was still quiet around 10. Paragon was the only hopping place but all the girls were occupied with a rowdy group of mates. I had one quiet beer on the eastern / seaside end (Dream bar?) where there were 2 hotties in their 20's. One was polite but kept her distance and the hotter one was completely oblivious to me. I caught eyes with an extremely hot looking tall girl at Vortex opposite and down the street who kept motioning me to join her there. But when I approached the bar I realized "she" was a LadyBoy and stayed on the other side of the street.

There were 2 sitting out alone at White House across from there, 1 an LB mamasan and another was a very pleasant looking lady in her low 30's. (Forgot her name, I'll call her Peach here.) Very cute and seemed fit but was wearing a loose top which I would later learn concealed an unappealing belly. I joined her for a beer but LB mamasan kept annoyingly close until eventually fucking off. As my luck would have it, only upon buying Peach an LD did I notice an extremely hot 18 year old eating with LB at Vortex, just MCOT, but would have been difficult to maneuver in that situation. In any case, Peach was all to amenable to barfining, and as TGT confirmed, it was only 500 BF + 2000 LT overnight. Very cheap and I thought I was on my way to a good bargain.

But when we got to my condo and Peach took her shirt off she revealed a most unattractive pudge belly that no doubt resulted from her 2 young children back in Buriram. I completely lost interest immediately, and after we showered, as much as I tried to get myself interested in her other very nice features (face, back, ass, tits, legs all good), I found her to be quite mechanical. She insisted on me capping, which didn't help as I tried to avert my eyes away from her jelly belly, and I just couldn't cum. Finally, I had her suck on my nuts as I wanked and forced out a shot. She was getting ready to stay overnight, but at that point, it was just after midnight and I realized I could still get a good night sleep, so I paid up the 2 k and let her go. She almost seemed disappointed, though I'm sure it's not the first time her belly has turned a guy off.

TBH, Thai girls are doing less and less for me as time goes on. I didn't see that many good looking girls in Hua Hin, and I didn't even bother to go over to Soi 94 this time. I did lots of TF / Tinder chatting, but mostly with older ladies well past their prime. A few younger ones were somewhat tempting, but they just don't seem very into it, and I can't find anything sexy about them at all. One hottie tried to BS by saying the "We accept money beforehand in Hua Hin (smiley face). " I promptly blocked her.

The other problem, well known to many of you, is the appalling English ability in Thailand. What the hell happened here over the past 3 decades? Most of the girls have ZERO English ability. I was having a pizza at a nice Italian restaurant one night, and a below average looking guy in his mid 60's was trying to have a conversation with his attractive 30 year old Thai date. She was all decked out in high heels and a dress, pretending to be some sophisticated lady. But he just kept talking and talking, and I thought she was following his stories with interest, but as I got up to leave, he asked her a question and she was struggling to put together 2 and 3 words into broken sentences. It was pathetic. Only then did I realize that she had no idea what he'd been talking about. As he tried to stay polite, I could tell he was just keeping patient until they could get back and do the one form of body communication that would make it all worthwhile. Even Google Translate wasn't going to help him.

In my mind, the poor English and disinterested attitude go hand in hand. I'm a long time Thailand hand, but these girls just aint much fun anymore. I know plenty of you guys like them, but compared to the Pinay and Indo ballbusters who just grind me into the floor, the Thai women just don't show any fire or dirty pleasure like they used to. They don't bother learning English because everyone is so sick of their country being decimated by decades of tourist dependency, and they can't pretend to have fun when their English is so bad. I recall having a "hot date" in Bangkok last August with a scorching 34 year aspiring entrepreneur, and I was exhausted after just 45 minutes of the slow-paced conversation.

So I find myself in this strange position of enjoying Thailand when I'm not trying to shag, but feeling constantly disappointed even when I land in bed with nice looking women. But I wouldn't completely give up on Hua Hin. I'll take it over the Pattaya zoo any day, and I think if I eventually come for months at a time between Bangkok episodes, there would still be occasional gems to pass a quiet evening with.

But for mongering, it seems you really got to like the beer bar scene to enjoy it here. If you do, then you can't complain about an overnight for 2000+500+LD. I should have been more precise in my description. The "Fah Bar" was not the one on the corner, it was one or two further along the street. Same side of the street as Red Bar. My bad.

I will say that while again taking photos is not my normal way to operate, I am sure that finding Fah in her bar would be easy to do at this point, she is most likely at least 7-8 years younger in age than the other ladies in her bar and she looks it.

Actually is a bar with a few hotties, I would say is almost the best one in Hua Hin, or at least comparing to what I saw today.

Definitely between the hotties there is one. Great body. She has to be. Or there is another Fah in town.

This was scheduled to be my last opportunity in Hua Hin on this trip, so I was happy to finish golf and back to the hotel by noon. Decided I would wait until the evening to play, plans that went by the wayside quickly, but happily in my case. I decided to take a walk in search of a no boom boom Thai massage and walked down Selakam Rd, after I saw a few places on the drive back into the hotel. Stopped and had a conversation with myself that basically consisted of the question "will you find something better tonight", to which the reply was no. Made a 180 degree turn and walked back to her shop (which I late found out had two store fronts, but the girls worked both places).

I asked for 90 minutes, she said is 60 okay she had a "friend" with an appointment about 15 minutes after my hour would be up. I had a nice visit and might return in the not too distant future. I really do appreciate all the information, even if I didn't get to put it all to use, it was all invaluable. I found what I expected. A much smaller market with a lot fewer choices. The only real surprise was I didn't find what I could identify as a FL type situation anywhere I went, but all that means is I didn't go enough places.

Thanks for the help Aggie, the bar in question is just out of the photo to the left. It is either the bar on the other side of the wall to the Hendrix photo or the next one down. The ladies would sit on street level, but the tables and pool table area were about three steps up from street level. Glad I am not on the witness stand or have a bright light shining in my face. LOL.
