A mutual friend of ours, an A-1 top notch solid guy, recently reached out to me to request a ride to HK from SD airport but I told him I couldn't do it. I advised him to contact you to help him arrange transportation with your guy that you claim can make that happen.

Honestly I think you're full of shit as usual, claiming that you can help arrange SD airport to HK transport. But I'll give you a chance to prove me wrong.

My experience is that all of the Mexican motels in Tijuana including Cascadas overbook. In other words, if you really want your room then you have to make a reservation and arrive a little early around checking time to ensure that you get a room when they kick someone out. If you fuck up and get there at 5 pm on a holiday weekend, you are not going to get a room. You are in Mexico, you have to understand Mexican standards.

Tijuana hotel reservations do not hold much weight. I've made Adelitas reservation in person for 2 days later and still they wouldn't give me a room. So I learned never depend on Adelitas. Hong Kong, is reliable but you have to show up within the time range, that you request, and really a hour early. If it's a 4 hour window show up within 3. Because I showed up once at 3 hours 45 minutes and they gave room away. My revolucion hotel I know all staff by name and always tip gave my room away last weekend. No explanation. In Tijuana money now is more important than money later. As far as guys in hk throwing money around like it's free money, if they are American, I would say more often it's not even drug money. It's either legal or covid loan scams, some people made hundreds thousands fake unemployment scams, I used to work for the fed government all day long I would look at the millions we gave away to people many with addresses not even in the usa. And nobody cared. In fact some of the scams were so prevalent in Florida that the cops couldn't arrest any drug dealers any more because they all moved on to sit at home on computer and steal millions scams.

It seems harder and harder to make a reservation in any Zona hotel other than those belonging to the HK group (Cascades, Risk). Chicago Club use to have a site for reservations for Jalos (Chicago Club) & 2 other hotels in the Zona.

Neither the Chicago Club or Adelita seem interested in making a reservation over e-mail or social media, and neither at the moment have working web sites.

Do they figure they can milk more money out of with 1/2 hour room rentals?

You'd have to actually physically be in Tijuana to pay for a half hour room, and as such you can also pay for a full night.

Either way the answer to your question is yes.

Keep in mind the overnight rooms are equally designed to "milk more money of" paying customers. They know that if you're staying at their hotel that you most likely plan on spending most if not all of your monger budget in their establishment.

And by the way since they're for-profit businesses of course they're going to do whatever they can to "milk more money of". That's the whole point of a profit-driven business. To make money and maximize profits. Accommodating goofball mongers on a small tight budget living in their mom's basement is not high up on their to-do list.

Thanks for the intel. I'll be in the area in Jan. going on a casino cruise. I usually spend a couple days before and after to check out the area. I love the Cuban food, coffee, and ladies. It seems kind of far to drive, but will report back. I usually stay in South Beach and gamble at Hard Rock. Cubana I met at a massage place spoke zero English, but provided good service.

Yeah, Diamond Dolls was only like 20 minutes from Hard Rock. I stopped at the Hard Rock a couple times to gamble. Played one of the poker tournaments they were having at the time. It's a nice casino. Yeah, I also stayed in South Beach. Diamond Dolls is a bit of hike from there (did the drive myself), especially in traffic, though I always drove late at night when there was little to no traffic.
