Yes, just about every hotel has check in / out policies around those hours, but if you have a consecutive reservation and keeping the same room, pretty much every hotel will allow you to check in to the same room immediately after check out.

An even better strategy would be to not stay at hotels with silly guest policies like this. There are plenty of hotels in Tijuana that have reasonable guest policies. Vote with your wallet and boycott the ones that do not.

What happened to you is normal, for both HK and all the bars. There has always been a unwritten rule, just from observing waiters, that you only get 20 seconds to talk to a girl, for free, before she has to leave if you don't buy her a beer. That's assuming, a waiter noticed and ran over to you like they do 95% of the time. You tipping them money, while its better for the girl than the measly 2 bucks or so credit from a drink, that does nothing for the waiters, the waiters, in the bars, are essentially the waiters / owners / manager / bouncer / pimp. They run the show. Unless you a big shot and the waiters know to leave you alone, then we are the peasants in their house. The girl I bought drink for yesterday told me the lap dance thing is the new policy if you buy her a drink they are going to push the dance on you. They asked me twice. They also interrupted my 2 drinks with her which were 10 minutes each, they interrupted about 8 more times to buy garbage food. I don't know how to get anyone to keep the food beggars away. The profit from selling 2 dollar junk food, vs pissing guys off to the point they buy less drinks, I think its a bad business decision from these bars. Its like you decide to buy a girl a drink, but its not you and the girl for 10 minutes. It becomes a sausage fest of men surrounding you and if you wave these food people off they look at you in disbelief like who the hell does this gringo think he is. If you plan on drinking its a great deal. I have used it many times, you pay $20 for 10 beers, get the coupon signed and it works great.

Well I tried it a week ago and they wanted $40 for a bucket. Even though right on the website it says beers in LC are $2 until 8 pm And it was will before 8 pm Of course I got nowhere. I heard everything from we are to busy to fix the website to there is no more LC this is HK 2. After trying to argue with all kinds of employees of course I got nowhere and gave up. Now I know why I hate the HK chain. And will continue to avoid them.

I was on the surfliner from LOS Angeles to san Diego they had the dogs smelling my bags 3 times 3 different employees every half hour. In this case Amtrak police. They do the same thing except DEA wears jeans and t shirt dresses like a slob so you don't see them coming. I told a 20 year old girl she doesn't have to let him look in her bag and he rushed at me ready to tackle me but I had never gotten up from my chair. Wanted to arrest me got in my face amusing me of interfering with police activity some bull crap. Wasn't my 1st bad encounter. I usually have the camera rolling when I see them coming. Its the same guys I know what they look like.
