Generally it is safe as long as you stick to trusted buildings. Don't walk along the road though. Take an auto or rickshaw right up to the building and enter. They start night service after a particular time (I think after 11 pm maybe) where you need to be there for whole night and they lock the gate for shots. So best to reach between 6 to 9. 30 types if you are not looking to stay the night (won't recommend considering hygiene levels).

Been a year back. Don't know about highly premium or low priced options, but buildings like 3, 10,39 etc had a rate of 2.7 k. Now its like 3.2 k. And break-up something goes like this: Pimp:700, boy (servant) 200. Landlord or lady in charge 40% of remaining and rest goes to SP. Now for the negotiation part, if one goes with pimp, negotiation takes place in front of him, he takes 500 (instead 700 say suppose SP agrees with old rate of 2700) but rest have their cut fixed on calculation of 3200, thus SP lands with the least booty.

Sometimes I found the ones who lowered their price are half as interested, whereas a hope for tip additional to the non-negotiated price make them perform better, both dance (if one is interested in that) and on bed with lot of variation, of course till the guy can manage (if he is not the quick one.

I like to experience new chicks, but once in a while they turn out to be too mechanical and like time watching in their attitude (though they won't say that directly) now for a long standing guy, its a lot distracting hearing hua? Hua?(wtf! So sometimes I return to chicks from past with whom I had good experience.

After reaching the destination, one can do a sort of window shopping in this area. General time to visit is advised as the afternoon and evening timings. The worst time to visit is during rainy season as the area becomes muddy and full of dirt. No one would like it.

Also after you reach there, don't behave as if you are new to the scene altogether, like having a puzzled look or putting a thing like you haven't seen sex workers in your life. Although they are doing it out of poverty or some financial problem, they deserve some respect. Just because they stand day and night in search of customer doesn't mean they don't have self respect..

I would now like to describe my first experience of how I went and built confidence to gather first hand information about this rld. One fine evening, I along with a friend, together we both went to see the situation there. First thing I must tell you that on your very first visit, it's advisable that you don't directly go to the ladies and fall in the charm and fix the deed.

In this area, the girls are of two types, one is the girl who have their own setup there and they reside there permanently. 2nd is the type who come from other part of the city, mainly during evening. It's the 2nd part only who are more attractive than the first part. Because the 1st group are two much used and they carry the risk of infection. The 1st group are majority of older aunt's and housewives, though one may find they are good looking too, but must be careful while selecting them as they may carry risk of infection.

The 2nd group can be mostly good looking HW and girls. There are a lots of variety which can be found, young, old, ugly, beautiful, Nepali, Bengali, Gujrati, Marwari. Etc.

So slowly we decided to first ask the girls about the rate. The common approach is simple. They will be standing before the buildings and on the streets. You just have to go and ask them like kitna rate hai? How much is the rate, in simple terms. One must be extremely careful while identifying a lady, because there are other common ladies also who go there for marketing etc. You should spot them if they are having some bag in their hands, going to fetch water etc, going to a shop or eating somewhere. The WG will not be seen doing any such activity. Hence be careful not to ask rate to the wrong person.

Continuing from my previous post. I would like to describe the area of Kamathipura.

It's an old RLD district of South Bombay right from the British times. The building and infrastructure and architecture everything belongs to British age. Here one problem a person who is not from the Bombay area will find that it's too much crowded. There are many lanes and small lanes and you won't know how to reach there.

There are many ways of reaching here. Via Mumbai cst station, via grant road, via Byculla. The main area of Kamathipura can be easily accessible via all 3 above described places. There is a sign in the road also that will signify that you have reached that place.

Now for a newcomer it's a little confusing about how to identify and find where to go what he is looking for. For starters, there is a dedicated lane where a sign board can be scene..

I have seen a sometimes, a group of men haggling with a girl for negotiations, others will simply stare them for hours and hours. They simply don't like that kind of looks. Everyone knows, even the local police vans make a regular round of that area often. So it's everything open and visible. One must not feel like one is going into a criminal area. Though it looks like that from the environment but it's absolutely safe. I have read reports that criminals and all visit, but that's common in RLD. Whom else one can expect in a RLD, Bollywood stars or something similar. People should remove these stereotypes before they go to any RLD for first time.

Not nepali! But they were hill arean as I wrote. I found such girls only there and in Lachhipur near Asansol.

Mostly they will have knowledge about SG, Kamathipura, etc. But there exist a number of rld where people get girls as low as 100 rs per shot. They are mostly present in towns and villages.

I being from Mumbai have experience of kamathipura area and have often visited it for getting good first hand experience. As they they if you get experience in one rld, you are bound to get confidence if you visit some other rld in other parts of the country. So with the opening of this thread, I will try to add my past mongering experiences.

If you notice many women standing near the street, near the cars, near the door of houses which look old and decrepit, you can assume that you have reached your destination.
