As far as I know his method won't work if you pay using CEFTS transfer. Those are real-time and updates within a minute.

I did it through com bank online portal. Any fund transfer you done after 8.30 pm will be processed on next day. So I did it around 10 pm. After she blocked me, I send a message to bank through the online portal mentioning the transfer reference number and saying I did a transfer to wrong account I need to reverse back this transaction. Then the bank holds the money until they inform the beneficiary about the reverse transaction and then you can get the money back. I think now most of the private and government bank has these facilities in SL.

Well done on your part blocking the transaction. Could you please let us know how we could do such as well? This is a common trick of the trade which a lot of mongers get trapped in. It would benefit the whole community if you are able to enlighten us on what we should do.
