The story goes as this. A school boy has used the L ads to book a girl. He has met the girl in a three story building in Bamba. When the woman realised this is a junior school going fellow she has taken his money, apparently thousands rupees, gone inside few minutes later has started running shouting "Policiyen". The little fellow got scared and has used the fire escape to run and fallen few floors down and was seriously injured. The cops got into action to get to the root of it. The Cyber crime unit has tracked the owner of the site apparently the guy has taken it down when his identity was revealed.

Some are mourning the demise of LAds, while some think it was not worth it. Actually some have had some good luck from it. Anyway, some of the pros was that it added another channel of access to services and reduced pimps to some extent and also promoted pimps. The careful, intelligent monger was always able to filter through it. Its gone now, so what alternatives? It seems like Nasty Lka is slowly rising to the occasion, we won't know for sure until the lockdown is lifted. However, I noticed something good for those who are into video cams, although I am not into it. They have a Fake Ad Details on their main menu where if you email them, they list all the bank accounts that cheat you. I hope they do this for phone numbers as well. So contribute if you have got scammed for the greater good. Then we spread the investment risk.

Klicka was right. Looks like someone who runs a same kinda site wanted to get rid of the competition and exposed LAds owner's personal details.
