There were about 15 ladies there. I was brought by a cabbie who waited it out while I was in the room with the girl. I felt completely safe. Clean? It wasn't antiseptic like the Hilton in Dayton Ohio but yeah, it was clean. I didn't try to take a girl out of there. My guess is if you want to do that your best bet is to have one encounter on premises and then discuss it with her, if she is willing to see you outside.

All of these experiences are relative. Like I said, they're not as incredible-looking as the girls in the clubs. But I left there a very happy man.

A late response to the previous posts about Rebecca's. I was there last April and the girls, while not up to the level of those in the clubs (Foxy's, Tavares, etc.), were good-looking indeed. Late 20s, early 30s, nothing menopausal or grandmotherly. Drinks, if I remember correctly, were about $5 US. I chose one who told me she'd only been at it a few months, who gave me a passionate ride, one of the best experiences I've ever had for 800 pesos. (The cabbie told me they'd bargain to 600 but I felt like a sport. Especially since she'd asked for 1500 to start with.)

I totally agree with you Macgoo. Not only were the ladies of Rebecca's old and ugly. The condition of the rooms were disgusting. That drive up that isolated hill road to get there certainly does not inspire much confidence either.

West16, if you got a beer for $2.00 then all I can say is WOW. It was usually about $10 US.

I have been going to Acapulco for more or less about 10 years now and the quintas like Rebecca's were always a place to stay away from. The other ----house called Raquel's was a little better, (clean rooms) but not much better as far as the babe action went, though on occasion there were some young pretty girls. But, that was on the rare occasion.

Normally, las chicas, Tabares, Foxy's are the norm. Beautiful girls there. Did you try any of those places West16?

Rebecca's is known to most taxi drivers. Nice place having selection of girls ranging from 18-25, about 6 to 7's mostly. Deal is you arrive at Rebecca's, are ushered into an open air patio, girls are paraded in front of you, make selection and girl joins you for a drink. Nov. 03 drink was about $2 US. Girl starts off by offering everything for $150 US, normal haggling occurs and price I incurred was $80 US, or 800 Pesos. Services offered seem to be wide open as far as girl is concerned. Don't be shy ask specifics of girl before making committment, if you want A ask for it, if she won't, try another. Staff seems to be very helpful wants monger to be satisfied. Hour is standard, Uncovered BJ is typical, safety was practiced for main event. By the way condoms cost $2 apiece, for you smart shoppers out there bring your own. Taxi driver stayed on site whole time I was there. very helpful.

I can't say if you can get busted, but I have gotten stopped on the way. I ended up giving the federales 20 pesos (via the pulmonia driver) to get off my case. They probably would've jailed me for something stupid (like some curfew law) or something f*'ed up like that.

On my second trip to Acapulco I was taken to a street by a (very reluctant )cabbie that was located east of old centro about 200 meters kinda behind fort San Diego. The street went to a low area with both sides littered with bars (nothing fancy )all of which had gals working and most with rooms in back and FS ranged from 150 pesos - 250 pesos. There was no walled area to be seen and was not a tourist area. If a dude likes the fancy strip club scene then this was not the place . SW's , open urinals behind the bars , dogs coming inside the bars then going back outside etc.Also,got some places on southside of Acapulco to check out. La Huelta was indeed a wonderful place; it saddens me to think it's no longer in operation. By the way, huelta was one of those Indian / Spanish / Mexican word that referred to the bark of a tree in which the bark looked like the wrinkled labia / scrotum of humans, much to the merriment of the older locals. Many such words won't be found in a "proper" dictionary, but have indigenous origin. What I would do, although I haven't been to Acapulco in many years, is to stay out of the rip-off places on the hillsides. Many times taxi drivers would insist La Huelta was closed and only after lengthy arguments would take you to La Huelta.

I would explore the blocks behind the market (the big, native market), which was full of *****s. Get a cab to ride you around in the day time to explore the place. What made La Huelta so popular was that you were in a walled compound, where a taxi could be found. If La Huelta's not going, try to find a place in the day time where you will be safe at night- having a sheltered entrance and exit for cabs, like La Huelta had.

One of the old places I remember was a place called Las Gatas; however, it looked "rough." Remember- cab drivers love commissions. In a country where the daily wage is about $4, you shouldn't have to pay $100 for some pussy.

I hope that La Huelta is not really closed and that the reports are from cabbies trying to get you on the hill...Acapulco holds many memories. I have been going there since the 1960s; it was much smaller then. In fact, where La Condesa is now, there was only a Pemex (gas station) and a fruit stand. Thanks for posting- some of you guys try to find us some decent *****houses instead of Puritan American sucker houses.

Guys, just as a FYI only (better late than never), La Huerta that is mentioned is closed.
It used to be one of the best *****houses around Acapulco, much better than las quintas or the houses that still stand.
It was so tourist oriented, that it was included as a stop on the Acapulco by night tours (early 90's).
It was a nice place, but R.I.P.
