A friend of mine has leased a Hotel known in the past as the Iguana Rosada now renamed Pink Iguana, he has also moved a bar that they had on the Montana beach and it has now moved to an area inside the Pink Iguana, the bar is called Tucan Bar as always I encourage you guys to support the local expat community which is growing exponentially in Montana and the outskirts in Olon I made several video about it and posted it on youtube it's girl friendly which is important to this community.

Where to begin what a weekend I have had I finally after 12 years went back to montañita Now it's not that I have anything against the small town on the coast per se, but the prospect of hanging out with 20's-something-year-old ex-pats that say things like "brah" or "it's like. " is not something that I am nearing my 50's is in the mood to hear much less their semi-socialist politics but I was hired to guard one my main client's daughter a 15-year-old from Oregon an interesting human I believe she has a great future being an art illustrator I will never tell her lest she loses her focus but she is damm good at it if she keeps it up, a big if considering the lack of focus of current day Americans but I digress. So before I can accomplish my assignment I had to go to montañita I brought my domestic partner as well as my future inheritor of the powers of pimping I also brought a girl for my homie's entertainment Cristina a girl from PE except that she wanted to bring a girlfriend, the trip had not even started and I was already getting irritated, somehow all of us a child and 4 adults entered a small vehicle I was nervous it was the long weekend and everyone was going to go to the beach it was the birthday of Guayaquil after all and these 2 goof balls decided to sleep so I took a happy picture for the memories.

So the drive to Olon is like 2 1/2 to 3 hours we hired a private taxi it cost $70 but is much better than getting on the Libertad bus and being cramped and full of other retarded beachgoers I am getting to that age where I prefer comfort rather than price, so I get to Olon about 11.30 almost midnight my friend had gotten me lodging in the Pink Iguana in Olon, it used to be called "Iguana Rosada" but is currently leased by an ex-pat that has converted it to long term rentals and renamed it in English so I parked my happy family in one of the rooms and I go out to take care of business while my assignment was in Montaña my lodging was in Olon.

So there is a back story here Olon and Montañita are really two adjacent small beach town some kilometers apart, I have posted about this in the past Montañita was started by surfers that wanted to catch "waves" and Olon was started by retired americans that wanted to be close to the beach but did not want the noise and the chaos of Montanita, the cab from Olon to Montanita costa about 2 dolars, and it took 10 minutes to get there ounce I arrived in Montaña it was an eye opener, so my buddy who hired me for the assignment was pretty hammered and being drunk in your 40's and trying to hook up with Cristina a 21 year old that semeed revatilzed by napping 2 hours well not all men can pull it off, if ever you give my dumb ass 3 beers and I will be unconsous before the hour is over never been a drinker not even when I was in the military, so I took the girl Cristina since she was clearly not going to fuck and my buddies daughter who was the assignment over to the biggest disco there, it's called "Lost beach" so there is clearly another caveat here for those who will ask the drinking age in most places south of USA is 18 so I had 2 girls one 15 and another 21 I was kind of nervous becuase one of them was underage but the security did not ask for an ID and this was a recurring theme because there is a street in montanita that they call the "shot street" where you can clearly see girls who are probably 13 to 17 who were taking shot like it was nobodies buisness it reminds me of Guayaquil in the 80's but I digress so I walk into "Lost beach" I have not seen a club this fucking big since "Space" in Miami my hometown it was a Wtf moment #202 of the day not even in the 3 big cities in Ecuador Guayaquil, Quito and Cuenca are there any remaining clubs that are this huge and even then, I wager that this club was even bigger ounce covid hit it was a wrap, only small night clubs now, but this club in my opinion was awesome it had like 3 spaces each one playing a different type of electronic music, alot of mix of locals and expats, alot people chilling and everyone on some kind of haluccinogen or upper it was deja vu for me this was MIA in the 90's along deco drive or espanola back when even Maddona was regular on the strip of Miami beach, I was impressed my home girl Cristina was guetting dopey on tusi she was called "la alcaldesa" by many patrons at the club meaning "the mayor", I swear it's like this goof ball knew everybody and even though I know her it's like I didn't know her at all, so much that I miss by not travelling just the fact that I had her around me raised my cool points with the party goers which went along way considering all the eyeballs I had on me, you see because of the work that I do locally and considering my assignment I came to the club aremd to the gills now I don't put much faith in local security people here are just too lazy but they actually did their job and took away all my gear except for a knife that I had hid in my dick considering the security situation you can never be too carefull.

My buddy's daughter drank only red bull while Cristina was out here snorting tusi like it was going out of style, another reason I stood out like a sore thumb big tall guy not drinking, not getting high, not dancing in the biggest nightclub in Montaña but I had my orders, this club I have heard parties till 8 to 10 am the next day, we left around 6. 30 am Cristina stayed she had lodging in Montaña I had to get a happy cab back to Olon which I did, they have a good rotation of cabs that seem professional and don't charge mich I was impressed by their operation.

This to me seemed to be a combination and a miniature version of Mia in the '80's, New Orleans before Katrina with the laid-backness of hippies in Malibu for those who can picture what I have described, I will be coming back here alone perhaps with one or two girls in my rotation so that I can further my debauchery but that is for another day I had work to do.

I took the girl home safely to the Pink Iguana they are just finishing renovation and will do a post on youtube in the future, too bad my homie did not get any tail Cristina the next day disappeared with friends and exchanged numbers with my buddies daughter I am guessing they will have some highly intellectual conversations in the future like "I was going to fuck your dad for some money but. ".

Another day another dollar this was an adventure.

I created this thread back when things were hoping ohhh how have times changed, to answer a comment from about a year ago, the thing about montanita is that some surfer dudes from CA thought that montanita was awesome for surfing.

This is the official modern history of montanita, what's so charming about waves I guess is in the eye of the beholder, as a man who has been in boat and helo units I have respect for air and water because they CAN kill you if you are not careful, I guess from a certain perspective if you like the rustic look and are inclined not to be around a bustling city like Gye it makes sense, but none of that's very important after all you guys are mongers yes you fuckers want to explore; as many vaginas as humanly possible, it's in our male nature after all. COVID did a number on montanita there was never any mongering over here but plenty of locals who are uneducated, stupid, or both that had the dream of finding a foreign man to take them away to another strange land and place where they will be treated as princesses like they feel they deserve, in my opinion, they are watching too many goddam movies.

Most men that come from other areas CAN find locals who are willing to get a "hot girl summer" experience, interestingly enough these same human females, when you are in the city, will have a high opinion or expectations of their dates yet they will get with some broke ass hippie that worked in Mcdonalds all year to save for their trip, female logic for you.

IF you speak Spanish and got some decent game there is plenty of locals and even American, Argentina, Canadian women that come to these "rustic" areas to get their "hot girl summer" experience, if you are a monger however that has zero patience for the BS you are fucked, there is no chongo nearby just plenty of stoned out foreigners and locals, who want to "adventure" all entertainment in regards to that has to be brought from out of the city, this is a fisherman's town after all, so there are not that many even 6 or 7 to pick from unless you hit upon the tourists.

If you have some survival skills, will lower your standards on infrastructure, and love to surf this is the perfect town for you, on a personal level my days of banging starfish performances from high ass stupid women are long gone.
