Thanks for sharing your experience. Like you said, the yeast infections clear with medicine. It just sucks that they happen often. It is not fun having to worry about them all the time. Hopefully the circumcision helps. I hope I don't regret it.

    Yeast infections and circumcision

I hope your not getting circumcised just to avoid a bit of thrush. That would be a bit extreme.

Yeast infections are caused by lots of things and may be completely unrelated to mongering. Canestan cream or similar will usually clear it up in couple of days. If it doesn't then I suspect there is something underlying it. Many antibiotics cause it, as does some people's reaction to some diets. Basically the yeast is always around but the body keeps it at bay unless your natural bacteria are killed off, it gets fed by excess sugar in your urine, you get a big dose of it on your dick during sex or oral or else there's a fundamental hygiene issue.

    Get a doctor to check.

    AF.

I am just tired of getting yeast infections. I hav visited several doctors and urologist and they have recommended a circumcision. I tested my sugar level and it is good to go. I finally found a medical article that stated circumcised men have a 15% chance of getting a yeast infection if the partner has one. It seems that for me it's like 90% if the partner has one. Hopefully circumcised men can share their thoughts.
I am like you, very easily get yeast infections, especially from my regular girlfriend. And its terrible for our relationship. I get them several times a year, and they can get so bad that I have a blister-like rash and afterwards the skin peels off. My mood is also heavily affected, especially just before a break out. I have been tested many, many times and it is definitely not anything else than yeast. I am uncircumcized, so also thinking about getting that done. It makes sense as it is always the part under the foreskin that first gets infected. Creams help (especially with ciclopiroxolamine), but it takes a while and in the meantime it's a pain in the neck. Another possible cause is being overly careful about hygiene after peeing. Pee actually helps prevent yeast. Many soldiers have been taught to pee on their on feet to get rid of athlete's foot. Another good argument for a golden shower.

    Keep it clean

I think it's pretty common and avoidable. Key is to keep it clean and dry after showering or sex. I agree that it's not worth getting circumcised just to avoid the occasional itching. There are plenty of over the counter creams that will ease they rash and itch when it does come up. Surgery can lead to much bigger complications.

Does a guy automatically get a yeast infection if the lady has one? I am uncircumcised and get them at least once a year. I am schedule to get an adult circumcision. I wanted to hear from you guys. I hope that with a circumcision this yeast infections go away. Please comment. Thanks.
I'm uncircumcised and got them all the time in my twenties from unprotected sex with regular girls. Steroid cream prescribed by your local clinic will clear it up.
