    Trimix gel

You need a urologist for this and a compounding pharmacy to make it.

Another thing for us old guys is our estradiol (estrogen) level. I'm on TRT and it has made mine too high so libido is low among a host of other things.

But the Trimix is definitely worth looking into if you don't mind the pin prick. Doctor will instruct you how to inject it.
    Waking up an older thread:

I haven't seen anyone mention the Trimix gel option. The trimix gel comes in two vials that do not need to be refrigerated, is mixed shortly before use and is deposited in the urethra by a tube instead of a needle. According to their website, you are ready to go in 5-20 minutes.

Sounds like a dream come true.

They now have an online Doctor's appointment option I am going to try out.

    Has anyone here tried it?

I took only one bottle of Vitamin K2 MK7 120 mcg per capsule per day. Since it is fat soluble, the liver stores it. Vitamin K2 tells the body where to put calcium (bones) and where to remove it (arteries and soft tissue). After that I took magnesium glycinate supplements on a daily basis for a few years, about 400 to 500 mg per day in divided doses. Magnesium is used up in the process of removing calcium deposits. Now in my sixties, I have reversed about 30 years of deteriorating erectile function. It took a few months to start noticing the difference and then gradually improved over the years.
As an aside to this, the K2 and mag are also required to maximize the utilization of Vit the 3, which will boost the immune system resistance against CODIV-19. I have been taking all three (10,000 IU of D3) daily and my level is at 190.00 nmol / L.

    Works for me

I tried out phentolamine back in Brazil where it was available tablet form (name = Vasomax). It worked less well than Viagra and tended to cause hypotension.

I tried out alprostadil as a minute tablet to be inserted into the urethra. The effect was not good. My cock became kind of gorged with blood but I felt something intermediate between pain and discomfort. Not a pleasant erection at all.

Papaverine is an old injectable ED drug. I'd have thought if you wanted to get an erection through injection into the penis, papaverine would've done the job on its own. Never tried it though.
You are correct that papaverine is an old injectable but it wasn't effective for everyone on its own. It was somehow discovered that using all 3 gave more men a higher rate of effects. There is also a bimix with papaverine and one of the other drugs in the trimix mix but it too isn't as effective as all 3. Keep in mind that we all react differently so there are 3 strengths that need to be mixed by a compounding pharmacy. Probably the ratios can be changed but there are 3 basic strengths and the amount to be injected varies so you need to start low and work your way up as needed under the care of your urologist. I can only tell you what I have experienced and not what I think or heard. I am on the middle strength with max amount of injection per use and it works. No side effects on The heart or nasal congestion. I don't even need to be excited but getting so hard makes me excited.

Only thing you need to be careful of is using too much and having a boner that won't go away. This can do damage but there are remedies for this too. First is don't get carried away.

I'm not promoting trimix but only passing on what I know works for me and an alternative for those who aren't afraid of injecting into your penis. It's virtually painless since the needle is so small. Just passing on what works for me for those who may be interested and looking for an alternative.

There is a treatment called Electromagnetic Low-Intensity Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy that is being offered to treat ED. It's been available for about 10 years but until recently it had all the hype and credibility of a penis pump. That is starting to change but progress is slow, there had been early reports from years back that reported some promise helping patients but the studies were always with small groups for a short term and the results were subjective. That is still a problem but there has been some followup and reports now say that it can be effective for at least a year. These reports also demonstrate that it is not guaranteed to be successful for everyone which does make it more believable, the cost is around £3000.

    Does anyone else know more?

I don't exercise, so I don't know about effects on stamina. For erectile function it took a few months before I started to notice a difference and then it continued to gradually improve over a few years. This isn't a quick fix. It took decades to clog the arteries and years to unclog them.

In the first post in this thread I said what I took. There are several brands of vitamin K2 MK7 available online at Amazon, iHerb, etc. They are also available at "health food" supplement stores in a shopping mall and some drug stores and grocery stores. In the attached pictures in the first post there are charts showing food sources of vitamin K2 and magnesium for those who don't like pills. I only took one bottle of K2 MK7 and since then I rely on food sources. Magnesium is harder to get from food so I take capsules of magnesium glycinate.

It gets as hard as it ever did when I was younger. I get erections easily too. I always have an erection when I wake up in bed. In these ways it is similar to when I was in my twenties. My only issue now is sustaining an erection in a standing position without stimulation. In that aspect it is more like when I was in my forties. I think it might be hormone related.
