I have had many alias as I prefer to change each year or so. But I have one gal that has been a consistent mistress for 4 years now. She is still using my original alias. Yeah if you are going to work the US (and really always a good idea) you need a consistent alias — both first and last name. And burner phone. Like your gmail has a first and last name (not vetted) and when you make dinner reservations they want first and last. I use my alias for both of these. You can't avoid certain things like your credit card has your name on it. And the hotel rez has to be in your name. But the more done with an alias the better. Just like you saw at the restaurant.
