Sht happened to me again.

In Mexico City I would just use common sense and intuition. If you stick around the main touristy areas like Polanco, Reforma, Roma and Condesa and are not acting like a fool, you are not likely to find any trouble. I think there is a language barrier and misunderstanding with your conversation. CDMX police are not setting up sting operations on SA.

I love SA in Mexico City, it just does not get much better. I am truly living a dream.

As others mentioned stay in Polanco or Condessa, you will not have any issues. The only issues I have is some of the apartments are strict about bringing visitors to visit, so make sure you double check the apartment rules.

I look at it this way. The fail was in picking a fat girl. But once you are at dinner with a fat girl your choices are:

1 send her packing. Probably sad and defeated. Go to your hotel and jerk off. Blech.

LOL. I think you unearthed a lot about the Argentine culture. Psychoanalysis is very popular there and it looks like you have found out why. Among the South Americans, Argentines are known for being cocky, and it sounds like it with this, "You cannot begin to understand my problems" schtick.

Tl; dr way more frustrating than it should be, but some gems to be found.
