At this point in time.

Melbourne has been plagued by rolling lockdowns. The legal situation on parlours is not as flexible.

The experience was a lot different from my previous times. Depends on the location. I have been on SA since early 2016 I think. Since Covid struck, I'm staying away but I was active for 4 years. 400+ is high for most cities, except a few on the coasts. I can't say if attitudes have changed in the past year. These days our government is giving away a lot of easy money and many employees are staying home. Luminous. The biggest pain in traveling was coming back through American customs. I hated that and being questioned up and down.

Best thing I did was get a Global Entry card which is a $100 and includes TSA precheck. Typically now, I rush through customs, half the time it is less than a minute and all the time is less than five minutes, and all that 3rd degree bullshit is now gone.

I am in Cancun now with my novia, and I got through customs here in one minute. So flying abroad which was such a big deal is not now.
