I have no choice because my trip is primarily a scuba diving one with three days up at La Paz and two over at Cabo Pulmo which I'll be using a dive op in San Jose Del Cabo. Mongering will be secondary but so far the prices (from a few years back) don't warrant the mongering part yet.

Here is an update on previous posts: Most of the strippers freelance and will ask for $300/ HR but most will take $200. I've never seen anybody hang out behind Squid Row but Torro Bravo is a few blocks east of there (never walked in it's not air conditioned). Beware of going online at sites like mileroticos as some (maybe all) will demand you deposit money in their accounts at Oxxo and you will never see them or get a reply again. The ones you can call and pay on arrival can't play that game. I've seen a few solicit at the bars around the block from Cabo Wabo and one really cute one who used to tend bar there hangs out but really, there are so many escorts in Cabo you could say they hang out in just about any bar. Most of the 50 or 60 plus massage parlors offer HJ's for $30, BJ's for $50 to $100 and the works for $100 to $150. If you can't find puta here you've got to be deaf, dumb and blind.

I'll be spending most of my time in San Jose Del Cabo about 20 miles east and at La Paz a few hours north. The search function does not result in any intel at all in these towns which are in the same region as Cabo San Lucas. Does anyone know if there is any action in either San Jose Del Cabo or La Paz?

Sorry, but if you read the Tijuana forums, you'll see that this is totally inaccurate. Scam artists and thieves abound in Tijuana!

People in Cabos San Lucas are very rough and not trustworthy. I saw many incidents of scams, crimes and violence in Cabo just in one long weekend I was there. In contrast I have never been cheated or robbed in Tijuana the 15 years I went there just about every weekend for partying with the girls. There are hundreds young girls in Tijuana bars, the best-looking in all Mexico, for about 1000 pesos or $60 ST. Many street girls will do ST for only 200 pesos or about $12.

In Tijuana, the chicas, mongers, vendors, policias, marinas, immigration etc. All just love my ass. I am their sweetheart.

I am honest in warning visitors to be very careful in CSL. But You cannot stand the truth. Perhaps the Sinaloa cartel should send a few guys to check you out.

Careful Cappy, you keep scarin' the tourists like this and the Mexican Tourism Department is going to stop your trash-talking butt at the San Yisidro crossing next time you try to slip into Tijuana!

Damn, with a dire warning like this, I'm surprised the State Deparment hasn't declared Lower Baja entirely off limits for all US citizens! If you read very far back on the CSL thread here, it's pretty clear Captain Obvious is partially correct; this tourist port of call has very little in the way of organized mongering, and what you do find will be priced for the occasional, naive tourista, more than willing to overpay for pussy. But dangerous, bordering on deadly? I hardly think so. If you can speak some Spanish and have the time, you can find some decent Providers, but it is not as easy, or near as cheap, as almost any other place in Mexico.

Lots of elderly North American visitors, college students blowing off some steam, and even families with young children vacation down here. The odd small time scam or overhyped tourist trap schlock being pushed from time to time, sure. But show me a high traffic tourist hot spot in any 3rd world country, and even in the good old US of A, that doesn't have a bit of that going on. Lieutenant Uno clearly won't agree, but CSL is perfectly safe for some South of the Border fun, even if it's more geared to a sanitized, Americanized-Mexican experience. You want to enjoy the real Mexico? I'd personally advise you try elsewhere (personal opinion only). But downtown Kabul or Raqqa, Syria it simply is not.

Viva Cabo hotel (was hotel Plaza Las Glorias long ago) at the boat dock has a couple bars facing towards the water, like bar Tiki. I have seen single women in their mid 30's, in nice dinner dresses, sitting by themselves at the bar, eyeing guys. You can approach them discreetly with a little Spanish and make your deals, but they will also want $200 to $300 for ST.

There were a few guys carrying pretty young girls on motorcycles, offering them around the hotel zone near the boat dock for about $200 with payments in advance, WTF? Just be careful there are a lot of scams in Cabo. They may grab and dash, or worse yet, force their ways into your room and rob you of everything.

I am not aware of any Zona Roja in Cabo, but there was a girlie bar for locals, about 2 blocks from the main drag, allegedly offering young girls for $50, but I found only older, overweight, ugly women not worth looking at much less fucking.

There were many young guys offering cocaine and weed to tourists. Be smart and stay well away from them, don't even talk to them, or you may be busted and extorted by your local policias. Don't be tempted by local guys or taxi drivers to take you to casa de citas somewhere else. They may set you up for crimes.

If you drive and buy gas at the PEMEX stations, be careful that the asshole attendants will refuse Credit card payment and insists on cash. They may swap your $20 bills with $1 and claim you did not pay. The boat hands may also follow you to your cars and rob you or vandalize your cars.

If you want to go deep-sea fishing, arrange with the sports staff at your hotels for reputable boats and crews to avoid big hassles later on. The independent boat crews are a bunch of thugs and can be big pains in the ass with upselling and extra charges. I did split rental fee for a 26-ft boat 3/4 day with another guy and hooked a white marlin with a couple tunas. Another option is to drive East about 30 miles to San Jose Del Cabo's boat dock and ask local guys to take you fishing on their smaller pangas, which are cheaper but less stable on the waves. These guys claim they can hook the same or bigger marlins than the thugs in Cabo San Lucas.

I'm in Cabo now, went to paradise massage by Cabo Wabo. $40 for a massage and $150 for a BJ. It is not worth. And went to Lord Black around 10:30 pm on a Wed night not busy at all with maybe 10 dancer. $126 for 30 mins lap dance and $150 for a BJ again not worth it.

Did you ever have any luck in Cabo? Has anyone else had any luck? Me and some friends will be there next month.
