I finally made the weekend trip to Cancun.

Here is the summary.

Flights: outgoing (to Cancun) uneventful, return flight because of the new rules took about 1. 5 hours in the airport to check in with a paper covid test attestation form which precluded electronic check-in and required to wait in a huge line at the counter.

Passport control / customs: uneventful in Cancun or returning to the USA..

Not sure where you live but the most popular dentists in Mexico are in Nuevo Progreso near McAllen, TX. If this isn't an option you would probably find top notch work in Merida much cheaper than Cancun. I lived in Merida many years ago and can attest to everything being much cheaper than Cancun. A 3 hour ride on a nice air conditioned bus with many of quality hotels all much cheaper than CUN. QR is aimed at big spenders, many consider it Miami South.

Thank you for the advice on Merida. I'll check it out next time. The only argument for Cancun was that it's a quick and easy trip for me. However, I certainly don't mind making a trip to Nuevo Progreso to save a few grand on the drillings.

I am in need of a removal and replacement of 2 dental implants. In the USA, it's going to cost me more than my car.

Does anyone have recommendations on a reasonable but good dental clinic in Cancun or the area that could do a great job and save me some money? Or is Tijuana the place for it?

I finally made the weekend trip to Cancun.

Here is the summary.

Flights: outgoing (to Cancun) uneventful, return flight because of the new rules took about 1. 5 hours in the airport to check in with a paper covid test attestation form which precluded electronic check-in and required to wait in a huge line at the counter.

Passport control / customs: uneventful in Cancun or returning to the USA.

Airport transportation: I took ADO bus from the airport and back to the airport. Cost was about 110 mexican each way. In retrospective I wish I would have ordered a taxi, which costs about $20 when ordered ahead of time from one of the taxi services, but becomes $40 on arrival.

Communications: I bought a Telcel sim card at Oxxo near hotel, was very simple. Cost for the card was about 50 mexican, and I added some credit for an unlimited data plan for a week, that cost an additional 100 or 150, I don't remember the details. Was way more than I needed.

Hotel: I stayed at Hotel Kavia Plus downtown. It was super cheap (about 120 usd for 3 nights) room had a balcony (which I love), and a nice view from the rooftop terrace. It also has a rooftop pool. No problem bringing the girls in, or inviting them to come. Either they sneak by the front desk, or I meet them by the entrance, or they show up and front desk calls me to ask if I am expecting them. It's about 10 minutes walk from the ADO bus station, about 15 minutes walk from Mary's and Healthy Body. It's not a very beautiful part of town, but it's very practical. Don't expect luxury, but it'll be clean. And it's next to Parque Las Palapas, which has a ton of local food and non-foreign tourists (Mexicans want to visit Cancun, too) so that's a great benefit.

Uber: Uber is NOT AVAILABLE at the airport, however, it IS AVAILABLE in the city. But there is not a lot of Uber cars, so I ordered it twice and cancelled twice when it was taking more than 10 minutes for it to arrive. I also put in a request from downtown to the airport, the system took it, the quoted price was something like 200 Mexican. However, it is a feasible option to get around.

Girls houses: I just went to Mary's and Healthy Body. Mary's had a wonderful soft somewhat older girl (I think her name was Donna?) - white skin, large and very soft equipment, very huggable, and I think she enjoyed the experience too. I paid the basic fee (1200?) and declined all upsells. (that took a lot of persistence) The basic includes CFS + CBJ, but nothing else. She wouldn't even let me suck her nipple. But I simply refuse to pay $200 usd as an upsell. I enjoyed the experience though.

Healthy Body, it was 1500 or 1600, basically all inclusive, had a little massage, BBBJ (I think she though about making me cover, but because I went to shower first maybe she didn't mind doing it bare), and FS.

Girl visitors: Are we allowed to post phone numbers on this board? I contacted a ton of girls from milerotico. One was absolutely wonderful, 2 more were so-so, and a few were plain weird. Lots of them flake out, ones that don't flake out say they will get there in an hour and show up 3 hours later. Overall, it's an annoying experience but not impossible. Fees ranged from 1200 to 2000 for the hour. ASK UP FRONT ABOUT BBBJ. Some are adamant about not doing it, others upcharge, some include it. Best not to pay up front, however, sometimes they won't let you pay later. One girl I had wanted pay up front, when I said I wanted to pay at the end she called her handler and he explained in English that I need to pay first. That kinda gave me some reassurance, I paid, she did what I wanted, got up and left.

Another girl was very weird about it. She took off her top and started playing with me, then asked me to pay, I said pay after, she got up, got dressed, and left. Without saying a single word. Was very weird. I wonder what did she have in mind? I am fat, older, and not very good-looking, but I am clean and not terrible-looking, I'd give myself a 5 out of 10 rating, so I didn't understand this at all.

Overall, in the weekend I had maybe 5 girls come visit. This was a few weeks back so I don't recall the exact details.

Conclusion: Cancun is far from being a perfect mongering destination, however, it is possible to make a quick trip there to get some p4 p if you are desperate. Like I was.

Yeah, I joined SA based on feedback from an old post from the PDC area.

I am will report back if I find any good takers. Maybe I try escort boards as well.

Very attractive girl and had a killer body. 1500 pesos for full service for 30 minutes. After 20 minutes she says times up. Hadn't come yet but that ruined it for me. Wow $200 USD, ridiculous! I think that they took advantage of you at Spa Mary and why are you using US dollars? My experience was quite different. I only paid 600 MX pesos total ($30 USD) for FS before 3 pm. Their ads even advertises these rates. I wrote up a trip report about my experience at Spa Mary. I used the knowledge of researching this forum beforehand to get useful information about spas in Cancun.

I'm going to Cancun in a couple months. It's my first time. Should I just get a more expensive hotel in the hotel zone, so I won't have to take taxis from a cheaper, further out hotel. I read on the forum taxis are expensive and they RIP you off. Are the casas far from the hotel zone and will I have to get a taxi anyway. Any advice on my first trip would be appreciated.

Great reads on here. Is it necessary to go to these places with pesos? Where is the cheapest place to exchange currency. Last minute trip so I didn't get to do this in MN. Thanks for any info.

Pull up Google Maps, zoom in on Cancun, and search for currency exchange. You'll find "cambios" in the hotel zone and in the city itself. Pay for services in pesos instead of dollars to reduce the risk of getting ripped off.

Be sure to write a trip report when you return to Minnesota from Cancun. Mongers who ask for help but then don't write trip reports are frequently ignored on this website.

Not recommended, personal experience. Chicks were quite average and the organizer lady was asking for 1500, did not accept 600 as bait though I feel she did contemplate it for a few seconds, meaning it must have been offered prior.

I did a review of Mary's Spa a couple of months ago. I know from personal experience. The ad said 600 MX pesos for 30 minutes and I think it was until 3 pm. I verified with their number on WhatsApp and when I arrived I showed her the message to confirm. There was no problem or issues and all for 600 MX. Your experience differs from others. You don't have pay more than double for the same service and same amount of time.
