Hello gents long time member of the WSG thought I'd share a tid bit with you guys.

My wife works for an airline that flies to Cancun as well as other Mx destinations. The airline shall remain nameless; however, some pilots have reported being taken for a "city tour" by La Policia basically intimidating them until they get to an ATM to extrapilate some funds for their tour. Now I hear about that crap happening all the time in TJ where I go occassionally but Cancun! Hmmmm I'm sure the pilots did not tell their employer that they were drinking & w h o r i n g got carried away, which got the attention of the police. I usually stick to the west coast of MX but had been considering Can for our next vacay not so sure now. Anybody hear about this criminality?

After leaving Acapulco (See report there) I ended my vacation with a short trip to Cancun.


The club that the hustlers are now trying to push is called "The One". It is ex "Shampoos" and is EXACTLY the same place. Just walked in to see, and nothing about the layout of the place has changed. The lighting, even the tables and chairs was as it was with shampoos. Obviously I would not stay. Just a rip-off.

Did spend a night a Pleasure Principle. Yeah I know it is expensive, but considering what you would pay in cabs, table dances, drinks for yourself and the chica, and finally the sex, you will pay more in plaza 21.

By the way mongers, if you look in the yellow pages in cancun under massage or escorts you will find a listing of various named places. Take a look at the Addresses, they are exactly the same as the Pleasure Principle. (Behind the Plaza Caracal)They are all in the same place. So don't think that you are going to a different spa, it is the same place.

Anyway, the babes are still very hot here. (www.cancunescort.com). I had Veronica. Great ass, tight and nice Knockers. My only complaint is that most of the girls there are coke heads. They even offer you a hit for free. Not my scene. But, the girls are nice.

Side NOTE:By the way, any fellow mongers go there in the past year? If so, the very last girl that introduces herself, (when choosing which babe you want) I would say is probably the youngest (Blond hair), but I would definitely say she NEVER gets laid. She never approaches you and gives you a kiss like the others, she does not even shake hands. She stands there at the door and always acts like she is in a hurry to say her name and she bolts out of there. I never did catch her name, but I am just curious if any other fellow monger knows who I am talking about. It is no big deal, but I just wonder if any other monger knows who I am talking about. She is definitely always the last one to introduce herself and quite frankly if she has earned 50 cents that would be a miracle.

Good options in Playa, from cheapest to most expensive. (Don´t bother for directions, just ask a the cab driver to take you there)

1. El Potrero: A place mostrly for locals, opens noon closes about 8pm
2. El Farallon: Also for locals, same schedule as Potrero.
3. Marlin Safari: Good place, visited by tourists and locals...good girls, average prices. Open from 6-7 till 2-4am.
4. Baby's hot: Same leves as Marlin Safari. Girl quality depens on the day.
5. Chilli Willies: Most expensive, top quality girls. Open from 8pm till 4-5am.

In any bar you can take girls back to the hotel, it is just a matter of negotiating and paying the usual bar fee "salida". But if you´re nice with the chicas you might find a way to arrange for private services after the bar closes, no "salida" fees to pay.

Now, with the recent government administration change in this area, you might find better deals and a lot more girls in Cancún. Strip bars ara back in downtown, you no longer have to go to Plaza 21.

A taxi should only cost you about $35 to $40US to get to Playa. Another option is the ADO bus from the airport. It costs about $6.00 and drops you off on 5th ave in downtown. If you want to be real wild you can hitch hike from the airport, there is no danger in doing that, my friends do it all the time.

I hope you have time to check out the scene here in Playa. It's not South America, but a good deal can be had if you try. I've had good luck at Papa Cubanas on a weeknight. Avoid the Marlin. Chilly Willys has good rooms but is on the higher side for $.

And as I always say, "It's a good gig living in the Caribbean."

Flying into Cancun on May 6 and staying in Playa del Carmen. How much should a taxi cost me to get there? Is it better to set one up before hand - if so - does anyone have any recomendations?

while in cancun last week i visited rama twice. first time their was a new girl their whose name i couldn't pronounce or remember. nice tight body but not as pretty as angelique. told the new girl no lotion as it smelled to bad (this girl wears a holster with that menthol lotion in it.) she gave a decent massage. asked for oral but she declined. $30 entry and i tipped $30. where angelique gave a gfe hand job, this new one really stretches your johnson with a great deal of force.

I just got back. I went to zone 21 had a great time with a lady do not recall her name, or the name of the bar. She was about a 7 or 8 and a GFE, had a full hour two times. Left the club 3,320 peso's lighter. A coulpe drinks, a couple tips, and a couple pops. This is more than I would have spent in the states, but still a fun time.

Cancun is the worst mongering destination in Mexico. OTOH, the beaches are great, the diving/snorkeling is great, as are the fishing and the Mayan ruins. But mongering is as bad as it is in the U.S., and the prices are similar.

Some of the more southern Riviera Maya is somewhat better, such as Playa del Carmen. But not Cancun itself.

Got Dome and Love Latina are correct when it comes to price. Try the travel sites like Orbitz. I got 5 days with an all-inclusive, flight included for an awesome price. Try doing a little research, you'd be surprised what you can come up with. Also, if you decide on Playa del Carmen. Try hotels like hotellatortuga, (they have a web site) very nice rooms, clean, only a few blocks from the beach, and prices are good.

Just do a google search on hotels in playa del carmen. Again, considering the time of year, the prices might be higher, but you may find a good deal.

Love latina is right, the hotels are gonna be very expensive for new years. You will have to look outside the hotel zone, and you wont be able to neogotiate with them unless you dont like like a gringo. The most inexpensive places are chilly willy's and black jacks, and the quality is ok. The best quality is in the strip clubs, but the cost might be up there, but its worth it if you can afford it. Shampoo is very good and there are two others that I cant remember. Those are the best places and will cost from 120-300 depending on your neogtiating skills.

You'll have to get out of the hotel zone to get an inexpensive hote in Cancun. Any hotel downtown will be cheaper. Howard Jonston is about $70 U.S. per night or you can stay in hotels that don't have air which you won't really need in Jan. and aren't quite up to US standards for around 40 per night. Cancun is not a cheap city. If you go 1 hr south to Playa Del Carmen you can get a decent hotel 3 blocks from the ocean for around 50 per night and you can find decent hotels for around 30 per night a couple of blocks further back, but when you get away from the tourist areas a little spanish is helpful. To answer your question , Hotels can be easily found once you arrive if you don't want to stay with the tourists, but they aren't going to be negotiable, especially with a Gringo.
