About the quality of Toyota, I remember the worst loyal customer who believe in Toyota quality turned into nightmare marketing disaster for Toyota was ISIS LOL!!I remember like few years ago, I woke up and turned on CNN website to check news and on front page with big picture with big head line saying ISIS love Toyota and you see the photo of ISIS parading with all Toyota 4 wd Land cruisers and it is true they all buy Toyota as they are most reliable even in most harsh conditions, but obviously Toyota did not know that they bought 500 hundreds of Toyota land cruisers and Toyota had to make investigation to announce what happened LOL! It think it depends on where the car is driven. In the USA no question about it the Japanese car is the way to go. Japanese cars used to have (prior to covid) low mileage engines and transmissions shipped from Japan to San Francisco for the engine about $500 with less than 50,000 miles so once the engine needed to be replaced it was very cheap. No question Japanese vehicles, will be easier to fix and much more reliable. If you have a European car in the USA you will find yourself wanting to demolish it as the parts and very annoying to get to the part which needs to be replaced.

Plus you cannot speed in the USA or else your car will be impounded, license suspended, and arrested. So a good four cylinder Nissan or Toyota is best.
