I don't live in Germany and I don't speak fluent German but can understand enough. Most time spent in Germany was 6 months in a given year. Do you live in Germany? Is your Deutsch fluent? What does it matter?

You seem to tend to take a little bit of information that may even have a bit of truth but extrapolate it without considering all parameters, variables, and wildcards. Simply put, it's speaking out of your ass.

On the other hand, why would I make a prediction for something that has so many variables? I can admit that I don't have all of the information to predict what governments will do 3 months out. My professional knowledge base is molecular biology, public health, and medicine, not government, political science, or economics.

As such, I can only professionally speak to the clinical science and say that numbers are down, vaccines have been tested with the same rigor as other medications, and that the social calendar does not present another Christmas-like gathering event in the near future. The opportunities for spread is limited compared to other parts of the year. Vaccines, even with poor national rollouts, will only reduce hospitalizations and the risk of a super mutation rendering vaccines completely ineffective is miniscule. As such, to say that we will be in the same exact situation in a year does not compute or make logical sense given the facts.

In short, I wouldn't be so stupid as to make such a prediction for 2022 when so many things are in flux. My instincts and educated guess however leads me to believe that you are terribly wrong in thinking that the SARS-COV2 situation will be the same one year from now, hence the time capsule.

I cannot say what is going to happen in Deutschland this year and next. Actually, I cannot say what's going to happen anywhere for that matter. BUT.
