I even took my booster now. I live in a flyover non blue state; I am into my mid 40's now. I have extended family that I visit regularly and some of them are old. I am starting to see my sugarbabes. Around here, things never totally ground to a halt as they did in some big coastal cities. I don't get the politics of this Covid at all. No wonder commie China that "accidentally leaked this virus" on the rest of the world and committed a genocide was laughing its way to a better economy in 2020. Now, divine comeuppance may be on them and those thugs are dying too even if their official numbers continue to be fake as always. Could not happen to a worse of "humans" - one wishes them every horrible death to as many as possible, for the mass killings they inflicted on this planet.

Do you (or any expert here) have comparative numbers of US states (eg California, Florida, Texas, New York etc.) Covid vaccinations vs infections vs deaths percentages for last 3 or 6 months? Also those same numbers for 5 most populated countries in the world? I am too stupid to find these numbers by myself, but my guess is this information can indicate effectiveness of these Covid vaccines and the related mandates. Thank you all!

Nobody here is an expert, we can just choose what do we consider to be serious information sources. My post was provocative, but I am not for broad vaccine mandates except for people working in hospitals or retirement homes. Plus I think that the covid certificates in use in Europe don't consider people who were infected but didn't have serious enough symptoms to get tested at the time. Everybody in Europe or US had the chance to be vaccinated, so as long as hospitals are not overwhelmed, let it rip. Personally I think that after this winter in Europe and US we will be in the endemic phase, the virus will be around but the overall risk will be smaller and smaller. Austria is going 2 G because of the winter holidays season. They want to show they have low number of cases when people make a decision where to go for ski.

The data you ask for would be interesting to see. I think we would need to look as well as what other measures are in place, population density and so on.

Mr Trabant engine (but Trabants are light!) admitted he was wrong a single time, after he said once that the population of Switzerland is 5 million. Which was true, in the 60's. I don't know why he accepted this fact alone but not others, after all it is published on the internet and I have some doubts that he has personally counted the entire Swiss population.

For sure, huge social distance when I will free ride, sometimes not seeing anybody for around 1 hour. Also social distance only stuck on my beloved bicycle for climbings, maybe I will have to make it vaccinated when I sleep with it in car and also with skis. US administration may not have same figures than your internet, to take their decision for 4 January when they tell about increasing rates, when also increasing in EU where starting to tell about possible 5th wave, and exploding in Easter Europe.
