How can you do a long term (5-10 years) testing phase in 7-8 months, on humans? (I'm not talking about lab rats and mice, but on humans!) Answer me that and you'll find your "source" for how mRNA can possibly alter your DNA!

Common sense would also tell you that a mRNA vaccine can alter your DNA, because RNA is the messenger (hence the "m" in mRNA) between proteins (the virus) and your DNA.

In a nutshell, an mRNA vaccine works the other way around, with the mRNA producing proteins, with a very high likelihood of your body developing autoimmune diseases over the next 3-5 years..

We can't know 5-10 year effects in 7-8 months. Obviously. 5-10 year effects are generally part of Phase IV clinical trials, the part that's conducted after approval and general use.

And no sir, we're not going to twist the statements and rewrite history. We are talking about this mRNA vaccine. One that carries a specific mRNA for this virus's spike protein, not DNA altering proteins. Membrane protein altering DNA? Rubbish. Autoimmune disease? Rubbish.

Just let it go. We've passed the peak of this thing. We have a solution so just try to stop contributing to misinformation that leads to more people being needlessly hospitalized and even dead. You don't have to be part of the solution, but at least get out of the way.

It's a nice thought experiment but there was no other alternative. I always point back to New York City and Milan in March and April. There was no flattening of the curve back then and hospitals were overrun and people who probably would have survived if we were able to deliver the proper standard of care needlessly died. The cases became manageable after the first round of restrictions but then things got much worse in the US when people stopped caring by late summer. Case numbers fell again in the fall either because people started taking more precautions again or due to a lack of social opportunities after the summer, but the holiday season caused another surge in cases and deaths.

No one wants to keep things shut down but the alternative was to let hospitals continue to get over run and society just not having the resources to keep up with the rate of infection. It's a difficult balance to decide how much activity to resume and controlling the caseload.

At the moment, "mutant" and "variant" are boogey man words. Yes, there is a possibility of them creating more challenges but currently mutations are not significant enough to abort the current plan: Get through this post-Christmas wave while vaccinating as many people as possible. My prediction is that we are currently at the end of the current surge and will begin a slow dwindle to more manageable case numbers. The key date for getting vaccinations up will be sometime in April as between now and then, I don't foresee anymore reasons for people to gather more than they already are doing.

A bigger threat than mutants is misinformation regarding vaccines, poor management in distribution, and possibly supply.

I swear there are people rooting for the vaccine to fail just to feel good about being right. (They won't be.).
