Federal American government did not ban anything. It just removed Constitutional protection because nothing in our constitution actually protects abortion rights. Rather this should be viewed as a State's rights versus Federal government case. America is more diverse than any other nation in the world. It is proper to let the various regions that differ so much to decide what is best for their respective cultures.
To make blanket cultural statements about America shows ignorance. Go to California and I guarantee that you will find it to be a lot less religious than Spain or Italy. Go to New York and you will see a lot more Catholic influence. Go to Alabama and you see evangelicals.
And again, states like Oregon, Colorado, and a half dozen others allow abortion til term. California, New York and a couple dozen others have more liberal laws than all of Europe and Japan. Only looking at the 13 or so states that have total bans is pretty narrow sighted and reveals that people saying America is backwards don't have a clue about how big and diverse this nation is.

That era is now over, and companies from BASF SE to Volkswagen AG are coming to terms with the new reality.
Firms making metals, paper and even food could be forced to downscale or close German production sites, accelerating a steady exodus of manufacturing jobs and leaving lasting damage to the countrys economic landscape.

For natural gas as a raw material, producers have no substitute in the short term.
As such, if the EU sanctioned gas imports from Russia, if Russia stopped exports or pipelines were to be damaged because of the war, production of basic chemicals in Germany would be affected, with some production curtailed or even halted.
This would impact not just the basic chemicals sector, but also downstream producers, along with Germanys overall manufacturing base.

But there's a lot of sensational bullshit going on out there. Women claiming that mothers will die because they can't abort a life threatening pregnancy, as if the law isn't already clear that if the woman's life is threatening that there are exceptions in all 50 States.
And the dumb claim that America is banning abortions is also bullshit. America isn't banning shit, states like Texas, Utah, Oklahoma are banning.
Over 30 states consisting of 65% of the American population still have less regulations than all of France, Germany, Italy, Spain, etc.

According to your logic, France is more backwards than the 30 American states that have less abortion restrictions. 15 week abortion ban in France? How backwards of them! How dare you tell a woman she can't abort a baby after 14 weeks! Give me a break from your sanctimonious bullshit.
What a bunch of media sentimental driven simple minded bullshit.

Let's look at this on the bright side guys. If there is a rolling back on a right to contraceptives as well, then the American tutes will have to start offering bareback full service! LOLOLOL! But then again, if you knock up a tute she's having your baby if you're in a red state versus a blue state. Fuck it! Too many complicated variables. I'm going to Germany or Brazil! Ha!
