For USA, I don't know, I travelled US quite extensively, from Utah to Arizona to NYC to DC to Vegas to LA and San Francisco and I remember American people as friendly and nice people! So, I don't know the news I saw was common events during covid or not though.

We are clever enough to make difference between Asians and Chinese government which is a shameful liar and not only about covid. There is a bit difference between not liking and I don't like Asian or US model of society, and hating. I still have my Nakamichi, Denon, Technics and Sony materials from 80's, when now more bad quality Korean or Chinese I try not to buy, but when you like quality, you don't buy Toyota. Skyline or NSX are better. For beef, except our Salers or Limousine, I prefer Argentinian or even Spanish than foods smelling and tasting fish in everything. I also won't go to US for foods quality.

I don't hate Japan island, I'm not very interested by Asia, not only Japan and I don t like Asian foods, but you can't say not a very sexist society where women don t worth much, really not a modern society for my values, when for me: women worth more than men, when they make us, when they would probably not make our wars, and I didn't like few Japanese guys I met in FKK, but I won't say they are representative of Japan. I remember when I was a child, funny seeing Japanese in Paris, always taking photos of everything, and Japan copying everything. Otherwise, oil especially and to a large extent gas as well are international commodities. Most countries pay roughly the same price on open markets. The main difference is that gas can be exported through pipelines Or LnG, and some countries haven't built enough LnG gasification facilities like De for example.

DE just signed deals that will make them able to swap out Russian gas within about a year and a half. Contracts with a Norwegian / us and a Greek LNG carrier fleets.
