I went to Georgia Institute of Technology after high school. The order of prestige and ability went:

1. High level Engineering and Architecture majors.

2. Civil Engineers and Industrial Engineers.

3. Management and Building Construction majors (not actual engineers).

In France, some engineers schools are higher ranked than all our universities or architecture schools, best at school don't go to university but to best engineers or business schools and I was in one of the 10 best engineers schools in France on late 80's, with higher level than now. Construction engineers are bottom of the barrel in any engineering schools. Although I seriously doubt he has an engineering degree from a university. That would require him to be capable of logical thinking, which is clearly not the case.

Building Construction was the major we had for people who couldn't get into the more prestigious architecture program. Others who couldn't hack architecture went into civil engineering where they learned the most optimal place to put fire alarms and fire hydrants.
