1. Palestine was a British colony. A name given to it by Britain. So when you refer to it as Palestine, you refer to a region that did not own the land they lived on.

2. The British colony of Palestine was divided into 2. Israel and Jordan. Thus your comment falls flat. Jordan can thus be referred to as Palestine.

3. The land area has had 40 different owners over the past 2000 years. Noone will ever agree to who owns it. But fact remains. Britain owned it, and then gave it away. To Israel.

4. There are plenty of regions of the world who want self governance. The region I live in want independence for one. Catalonia wants independence. Quebeq, etc etc. The entire nation state is nothing more than fascism. But it is what it is.
