Now there is a sweet spot, it's not about the absolute tallest men. But if you put a 1. 85 - 1. 90 athletic guy next to a 1. 65 skinny guy, the short guy better have a lot of money.

I think this is slightly skewed in that instead of "small" women that "tall" women would be preferred in order that the kids be tall or at least maintain the height of the preceeding generation. In order to get the "tighness" inherant in small women that instead younger tall women were used prior to them achieving full height such that these younger girls were tall genetically but not at the current instant of birth of the children. During the evolutionary period women would get pregnant at the earliest time prior to her full heigh such that she may have appeared short but genetically she would eventually become tall or at least mid height.
