That is roughly proportionate to the overall population. About 60 percent of of Brazil is under 40 years old: https://www.populationpyramid.net/brazil/2019/.

Speaking with perspectives reflective of simple American political dichotomies does not accurately portray socio-geopolitical realities and only serves to perpetuate animosity and hinders progress through collaboration.

Posts: 22248China threaten to blacklist companies and people who don't get vaccine, when their vaccine is ranked not really efficient by EU. So, I won t go to land of freedom and human rights, China, when I love so much my freedom to decide and don t need to buy their low level quality production. I think would not be, but wish for no passport in EU, but just to give protection to those who need and want, when many are at risk or scared of killer virus. I won t criticize Bavarian to buy sputnik, even not allowed in EU, but if can protect his citizens, even maybe more to show how he makes safety, to become after Angela, but if he succeed to save lives, after he closed some borders, then can't blame him.

Currently in Germany:
Deaths are 23% of maximum in January.
https://ourworldindata.org/explorers...e&country=~DEU
Hard to find exact hospitalization figures for Germany but:
Hospital bed use is only 20% of available all beds (just 41% of January total bed census).
ICU bed use is 42% of total available (just 67% of January ICU census).

More infections with less severity means one of two things, maybe both, more testing and vaccines protecting the vulnerable from getting very sick.
Too many variables outside of the actual disease itself to predict. Politics, battling ourselves with players of misinformation, incompetence of public health leaders, public hesitancy, etc.
But the situation is still much better than they have been at the height of the European January wave.

Posts: 2344"J&J Vaccine Pause Creates 'Perfect Storm' For Misinformation".
For anyone who actually gives a shit and wants to be bored to death with the actual specifics of the impact of Leukocytosis, immune response and inflammation or specifics of disseminated vascular coagulation and thrombotic thrombocytopenia pathophysiology without the interruptions of fabricated misinformation, feel free to DM for explanation and references. If you're that nerdy, we'd probably be friends.
The really concerning points are discussed in this article with analyses from various media-communications experts:
"CNN. ABC News. The New York Times. Fox News.
Those are the publishers of four of the five most popular Facebook posts of articles about the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine this week. They're ranked 2 to 5 in total interactions, according to data from the tracking tool CrowdTangle.
The No. 1 posting, however, isn't from a news organization. Or a government official. Or a public health expert.
The most popular link on Facebook about the Johnson & Johnson news was shared by a conspiracy theorist and self-described "news analyst & hip-hop artist" named An0 maly who thinks the pandemic is a cover for government control. "
Millions of Americans were already skeptical of the vaccines before the Johnson & Johnson news, and a vast online network exists to feed that skepticism with bad information and conspiracy theories.
Often, misinformation peddlers with a specific agenda will fill in knowledge gaps with false information, knowing people are desperate for any information at all.
Even after that guidance does come out, which officials said they hope will be in a matter of days, it's likely this development has ripple effects, especially driven by those who have made fear a business model and built their brands on vaccine skepticism.
Full NPR article:
https://www.npr.org/2021/04/15/98718...rist-posted-it.
The FDA and CDC are dropping the ball big time and letting the agents of misinformation dictate the conversation. They should probably be making press releases 5 times a day right now, giving a play by play of everything they're doing to clarify the investigation process and explaining relative risk data. Instead, they've allowed the poorly informed to perpetuate their half truths to an impressionable public.
The tweet here by statistician Nate Silver sums up their logical failure.
By @NateSilver583 April 13
6 cases out of 7 million people. What a disaster. This is going to get people killed. And it's going to create more vaccine hesitancy. These people don't understand cost-benefit analysis. They keep making mistakes by orders of magnitude.

Now in 2021, the handling of what any insightful person could easily predict to create "a perfect storm of misinformation" has been incredibly mismanaged. We need public health people to direct the response to a public health problem and we need them to do it much more effectively. Strike 2.
Three strikes and you're out, Game Over for the good guys.

Some people are really slow, and people who vote for them are even slower and complete stupid!" That was on the news that "France suspends all Brazil flights over Covid-19 variant fears (https://www.france24.com/en/europe/2...-variant-fears). Is this a racist action?
Care to stay on topic? Anything else you say just shows how brainwashed you are. Remember, it's totally ok to admit mistakes and say "I was wrong, I am learning".
