I would be happy if things can open Aug 1st. Yet, Sep 1st is more likely. And everything is still extremely uncertain.

Revising my thinking slighty and getting optimistic. I think GT with its many cabins *outside* is in great shape to open in Summer.

- Especially with rapid / quick COVID tests coming up.

- We will have to assume that showering is most likely NOT an option. So please all, come already clean. Washing after the toilet of course is doable.

- And there will be heavy mask restrictions, outside, indoors, and esp. In the room.

- Significant room ventilation / desinfection after usage.

- Eating can be implemented nicely outdoors too.

BTW, how do they handle speeding tickets in France? Same with the flash and your license plate? In Germany, I've received many ticket notifications. Some included a black and white picture of me in the driver seat, others did not. I don't remember the tickets from Switzerland including my picture so I am guessing that it is required there.

They send you a notification by postal mail and there is no picture inside. Inside there is a form to fill if you want to refuse the fine but since I am an adult, I always took my responsibilities and always paid the fine. Every time it was for less than 10 km / h over speeding.

Unfortunately there are some crooked lawyers who specialize in searching for the little hidden bit who could allow you to oppose and not to pay the fine. No one can verify his claim but my experience with a Swiss traffic offense was that I first received a letter in German and then a follow up letter in English a few weeks later. For me, the Swiss authorities had to deal with an even more complicated situation as I rented a car that was registered in Germany but I was an English speaker from America. Yet somehow the Swiss still found a way to reach me with a letter written in my native language. It would be quite odd that they were able to write to me in English after having to route through a German rental company but failed to write to a French resident in French when the car was directly registered to the driver.

But regardless of the technicalities of language, somehow the car was in Switzerland, license plate flashed and recorded, yet the driver yells injustice. Even considering the technicality that could be used as a "get out of jail free card", the juvenile refusal to accept fault mirrors the tantrum of a teenager that denies guilt when caught red handed.
