If true this is clearly irresponsible behaviour. There is a reason _professional_ drivers have limits on minimal hours of rest before they are allowed to drive, one of those EU regulations. These guys are professional drivers, they get paid to drive.

You also forgot the study I linked where the MMR vaccine was linked to the same increase in blood clotting. And a kindergarten level of googling would find you thousands of sources regarding the link between corona vaccines and side effects. Especially blood clotting. May be you are aware that today the European commission starts to negotiate up to 1. 8 billions upgrade shots (for 2022 and 2023) of covid vaccine which should be able to protect against the new variants, so they are aware about the poor efficiency of the today vaccines on the long run. You told us to get vaccine but that means we will have to vaccine again in 2022 but I don t believe that it is serious to vaccinate the whole population every year. On my first US visit, in Miami, I rent a car to visit keys and to go to Orlando, but even they didn't put me in jail, but never rent again, impossible for me to drive there, turned around San Francisco on bicycle, police closed crossroads to let me climb California, walked and back Vegas strip, walked through Salt Lake, a lot in Utah, Arizona, Colorado. I know very well and a lot of the tunnels in Switzerland with 80 speed limit, I don t believe there is a link between falling asleep and speed or you need adrenaline to stay awake which means may be that you have cross your own physical limits.

I drove millions of kilometers in many countries including Switzerland (I lived there 5 years) USA, and China. Never had any problems with police, never got any fine I just respect the speed limits, advice you to do the same for sure you will have no problem. But may be you consider yourself as a better driver and that you don t need to respect the laws therefore you have to pay for it. How can a policeman respect a guy in the 50+ who still hasn't understand that the road is not a racing place and that everyone has to respect the speed limit. You need to get the facts straight. These are not UK or EU vaccines but vaccines made by pharmaceutical companies. The UK was out there first to sign contracts for the vaccines and also funded research and new manufacturing facilities in the UK and EU while the EU sat on it's ass taking 3 - 6 months longer to make their first order. There's even factories in the EU funded by British money to make these vaccines, one in the Netherlands was set up by AZ with British money when Rutte refused to help. Now that these vaccines are being produced they are being delivered to customers on a first come first served basis. The EU is trying to jump the queue to get get vaccines that they will be forced to stockpile as they have dented confidence amongst the population.

EU sent 21 millions vaccine to UK, when UK, US, sent 0. I just wish EU will protect better their citizens, keeping produced vaccine for them. AZ with half French boss, is getting more and more restricted in EU, second dose being with other vaccine. 70% French don't want AZ, when 60% Russians don't want sputnik. Right-O. Blood clotting always happens in response to stressors on the body. Every time you get sick, your body will produce more relatively benign blood clots because microvascular lesions occur due to normal immune response. Obviously, any vaccinations would cause an uptick in these blood clots much like any infection would. That's the point of getting vaccinations, a practice run for the immune system.

The question of importance is, are there significant enough serious blood clots that show a morbidity higher than baseline where the risk-rewards of vaccination negates their usefulness?

For the recent AZ controversies, if there will be any contraindications, they seem to only be linked to women who take birth control because birth control already causes an increase in risk of deep vein thrombosis (significant blood clots). Their combined effects may cause public officials to advise women taking birth control to hold off on AZ vaccination.
