Question, can you define what determines when a mutation becomes called a "mutant"? Can you tell me what actually differentiates one "mutant" from another?

Now the 'usual suspects' like for example Mursenary and McAdonis can post long off-topic stories or come up with all sorts of accusations of "conspiracy theories" in order to push my post to the bottom and out of sight.
Still waiting for those sources for autoimmune disease and DNA altering effects from the vaccine homie.

BTW, welcome to the rants and WTF are you talking about and coronavirus thread.

The point is to look where things are going, not where they are. Just like investing in stocks, the losers are the ones who jump on a trend based on what has already happened. The biggest winners look at the trajectory, incorporate variables, and then make big moves.

Maybe why Brady keeps on still being the best, after more than 20 years in this business more than sport, when I improved since I started nearly 20 years ago at age when professionals are usually on their top for resistance, but I perform better now than when in 30's.
And professional racers, rugby players, and football players would literally get killed in the ring / octagon against a trained MMA fighter. But walking up a hill is not climbing a mountain unless you free climb with your hands or belay with a partner. Walking up a hill is not a sport. Keeping fit as you age with cardiovascular exercise is a nice hobby to extend life. Bragging about it as if one is an athlete is a joke.

Mutants. Pfft. A speed bump at best. Wash your hands, wear your face masks, get the vaccine. Avoid unnecessary, unprotected close quarter contact and we'll continue this long road back to some form of normalcy! Maybe if we're lucky, there will be some form of international mongering by summer.
The problem is not that the world is facing mutants or increase and decrease in cases & deaths.

The real challenge is the virus symptoms and long term effect of it on the people and overall health also the vaccines are not tested enough on variety of people so there is big number of factors we hope to understand to overcome the virus.

Simply the symptoms differ from group to group of people and too much unknown on how the virus acts on us.

Thus until collecting a good amount of data and understand the how it affects different organs and why is the immuno response different widely.

We still hope for the best and wait.

And even I m sure Biden is much more honest than Trump, how can they really know among 11 millions illegals and more than 50 millions without healthcare insurance, so they die hidden, because they can't pay for healthcare or hospital. Even I don't worry so much for my health and won't change my way of life, even job became much more complicated since November, needing to be daily on the field, in the cold, to check safety, but I feel more safe with French healthcare.

NPC = Non Playable Character. Meaning that in our simulated reality, not all people have consciousness.

I could claim I have alpha size and I'm able to count my hands and feet fingers, when I didn't achieve for one of the 10 best French school, higher ranked than any French university, to play sport to show my school, but I preferred to work to improve cars with money earned while holidays except going to ski.

It's a brutal sport but they are real apex athletes. Stamina, agility, and strength must be incorporated. Their training is more intense than most other athletes. Half of them might be dumb as bricks with brain damage but 15 minutes in the Octagon takes much more physical fitness than a half day "climbing" up a mountain or should I say walking up a mountain as climbing would entail belaying, gripping rocks with your hands, or traversing. They are real athletes in the octagon who must maintain top physical condition rather than being one dimensional endurance "athletes."

This dude Mursenary for example is one example of a computer generated NPC. You can tell by how he only copy paste ideas easily found in mainstream media and in simple propaganda funded textbooks made for ordinary bachelor programs at nursery school.

LOL!
The reason the angels ascended down to earth was only have the taste of female pussy.

Translated from quasi Bible speech that means we all once were AI. But then some thousands of us decided to enter human Avatars in order to get to have sex with beautiful women.

In essence, this is a step beyond super human AI.

Then again, it also means that 99% of all humans are only software programmed NPCs that only gets computer animated once you actually see them.

I think South Africa is being practical.

The recent AZ study in South Africa was strange. The study was only able to include 2000 participants with an average participant age of only 31. The press release stated that of the 1000 participants who received the vaccine, 19 eventually became symptomatic with mild to moderate disease while 20 of 1000 participants who received the placebo developed mild-mod symptoms. There was no mention of any cases of severe disease. My suspicion was that there were no severe cases because the average participant age was so young. Most 31 year olds would not have developed severe disease with or without vaccination.

As such, the study design was very limited. It was too small. It did not support efficacy in preventing mild disease but at the same time, was too limited to rule out usefulness in preventing severe disease due to the extremely young population studied.

When I say that South Africa is being practical, I am considering that they had the choice between AZ and JJ vaccines and decided to shift towards the JJ rollout. While AZ sorts out the data, opting to invest in a JJ vaccine that only requires a single dose while also already showing efficacy in protecting against severe disease in South Africa seems to be a reasonably strategic move. They are obviously looking for the cheapest and easiest to distribute vaccine as they did not even entertain the freezer stored 2-dose Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. JJ for poor nations, with its so-so efficacy in preventing mild disease but excellent efficacy in protecting against severe disease, seems to be the most appropriate choice. Single dose, refrigerator stored, decent efficacy, the JJ vaccine will be the budget vaccine of choice for poor nations.
