It wasn't until the puppeteer brought out the tallest marionette with the shortest strings that the wee folk truly lost control. Smoke was billowing, flames were on the floor. The tallest mariannette was near the entrance and the wee folk was summoned my Bowser. The wee folk demanded the tallest mariannette be sent away but Bowser refused. The decision was made, the wee folk would implement self exile. Even when he came to bid the fair maiden goodbye, and found her and the entire cast sitting beside the puppet master, he declared his heartbreak and announced his exile. The puppet master celebrated with the cast. The story is famous. The wee folk still talk about lost love, the towering marionette. The rest who witnessed it speak about the inferno, the jilted wee folk, the first of multiple exiles, and the kick ass after party enjoyed most by the puppeteer.

The truth is that COVID-19 is a joke, most people don't even know that they've been infected.

If the number of actual infections was say eight times the number of confirmed cases, USA would be at 170 million actual infections. That would be 52 percent of the population, which would be approaching theoretical herd immunity. But the number of confirmed new daily cases does not seem to be dropping in USA, which would suggest that USA is not yet approaching herd immunity. Czech Rep has an even higher confirmed cases per capita, and their new daily cases also do not seem to be dropping yet.

It would be funny if it wasn't so sad, a lay person attempting to lecture a healthcare and public health professional about the nature of a public health threat. You are completely unaware of the downstream threat that an overloaded healthcare system poses on those not even affected by covid19.

I remember when I used to think like you. Completely self-oriented, so consumed with personal gain that you're unable to invest in others to achieve a mutually beneficial scenario. It's a slave mentality that is ultimately self-limiting.

There are over 195 sovereign nations in the world. If you don't like the policies that the collective majority support in a particular area, you are free to find a society that better suits your ideals of "survival of the fittest."

But Tecumseh didn't "show respect to all people. " because he was frequently at war. Whether right, wrong, or indifferent in his case, some views aren't worthy of respect, nor are the people who persist in and act on them.
