The truth is probably somewhere in the middle. Sure, many Russians might not be very motivated, but what about the motivation of Ukrainians?

Europe is full of nice and relatively expensive cars with Ukrainian number plates at the moment: all 'heroes' that are 'defending' Ukraine by escaping to the EUSSR to collect welfare! That's how 'patriotic' most Ukrainians are to serve as cannon fodder for some CIA sponsored oligarchs like Petro Poroshenko or Ihor Kolomoyskyi.

Fact is that Ukraine in 2022 is in a very similar position as Russia was in the 1990's under that drunk idiot Boris Yeltsin. Ukraine today is a corrupt chaotic cesspool run by CIA puppets like Yulia Tymoshenko, Petro Poroshenko and now a mediocre actor-comedian Volodymyr Zelenskyi who is clueless about geopolitics and military matters.

I'm afraid that for most Ukrainians this will develop into a stalemate which will completely destroy their country because some neocons / neolibs in the USA are waging a proxy war against Russia. Even if Putin is 'removed' from power tomorrow or dies of a heart attack, someone else will take over that will continue the present course because most Russians know what the alternative will be: being a Western puppet state like under Boris Yeltsin in the 1990's when Yeltsin was happy and drunk enough to hand over all of Russia's oil and gas companies to the West.

Remember Yukos and Michael Khodorkovskyi? Khodorkovskyi was going to sell out Yukos to Exxon-Mobil and Putin put a stop to this, and this forms the basis for the tensions between the West and Russia. The West doesn't give a FUCK about "freedom and democracy" for the Russian people, they only want to rob it. Most Russians are astutely aware that their country will transform into a commodity-rich-third-world-shithole like Nigeria or Venezuela if they support the CIA into organizing a 'colour revolution' so they much rather prefer to live in a stable Russia by maintaining their support for Putin and his (no doubt corrupt) cronies.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yukos#Forced_sale_of_assets.

On October 31, 2003, shortly after the arrest of the company's CEO, the Russian government froze ownership of 44% of the company's shares. The reason given was to prevent a group of shareholders led by Khodorkovsky from selling a large stake of the company to the US oil firm Exxon.
This is the reason why the West was so quick with sanctions against Rosneft, Gazprom, GazpromNeft etc, because it was payback time for their failed robbery of Yukos, and this is also why the West has no sanctions against Saudi Barbaria's national oil company (Aramco) despite the Saudi war against Yemen and despite the fact that Saudi Barbaria is a brutal dictatorship, or why the West has no problems with Azerbaijan's "dictator" Ilham Aliyev and buying oil-gas from SOCAR (Azeri national oil-gas company) despite the brutal and unprovoked war against peaceful neighbour Armenia.

I have quite a bit of knowledge and expertise in this area (this was the reason why I have visited Russia many many many times in the past) and this is what of course you won't read in the Western newspapers or what the Little French DGSE Napoleon with a superiority complex (who claims be a mountain climber and to speak fluent Russian, hahahaha!) here won't write in his 20 k posts either.

Reality is that the West doesn't give a FUCK about "freedom and democracy" and has no problem whatsoever to buy oil and gas from brutal warmongering dictators, so long as those dictators allow the CIA to run their country and sell large parts of their oil and gas industry to Western companies. Russia-Putin refused to play this game, so now the Russians are the black sheep.

Or have them all charge at once they will overwhelm the Ukrainians.

And Comrade P. Needs to take out all power and water facilities in Lviv and incediary firebombs to make that city a wasteland to prevent resupply from the USA and NATO. As time goes on Ukrainians will die at a lesser rate than Russians but Russia has ten times more people and it will prevail at the end.
300000 along such a large frontline is nothing. Don't forget Ukraine with a population of 45 millions don't allow their men to leave the country. So we can assume they have 10 million men at least in their pool of bodies to take from. In 2nd WW the Russians and Germans had each 5 million, give or take a million for a long time at the front, and the front line was only maybe 3 times larger than this. In the 1st world war at the trenches anyone who moved their head got shot. Defending 10 to 1 is easy as hell if you have a good fortified position. As long as you have the ammo. It is all about who has the most ammunition. Humans are just there in order to die. Which is the depopulation agenda of wars. Not to fight for a purpose. Their purpose is to die, and the people who send them to war are in fact the ones killing them. Not the enemy, and that goes for both sides in a war. In 2022 especially, we humans serves zero purpose in a war when it comes to affecting the outcome. Drones can be controlled half a world away and lock into someone's head from afar. If NATO wanted it, we could take out 300 000 Ukrainians in 1 day with the use of drones. Sure a bit of production would be needed first, but the tech is there.

Thing is, there is no will to end the war already, and possibly soon China will start their push in order to take Taiwan also. So there is a purpose in having it drag on. Right now the west without Taiwan would be in a serious microtransistor supply crisis. Sure one can argue that Russia would answer by nuking NATO, but that would hardly be the case. If they do that, then they are dead in the water.

China is the big issue here. Russia is just buying time. The Great Reset needs its scapegoats.

They have 220,000 right now. In 12 days the rest of them will be fully trained in their two week course. Assign some Wagner operators and Russian special forces to supervise and further teach the new soldiers to make sure they don't get any ideas about defecting.

Also in about 12 days all the electric plants will be destroyed and water treatment facilities will be off line and no clean water and sewage drainage will be destroyed. This will lead to bacteria outbreaks. Then hospitals will be targeted by missiles and NATO and the Ukraine army will be unable to fight since they will devote all their resources and time to getting water and electricity to the population.

The world know Putin lost his own war with his army, and now trying to make Ukrainians dying from cold. Today, I met a Ukrainian escort, but my first from Marioupol, when usually from Kiev, Lviv or Odessa. So reactive, telling I make rude sex and she likes, when I entered so slowly, carefully, maybe because I know where to press with my tool. Sad chat after about her grandparents in Marioupol with no electricity nor gaz, when Ukrainian Winter is colder than in Western EU.

You know when you talk to a college kid that knows a fair bit but realize that he's dumb as bricks and has no idea how to turn knowledge into intelligence?

Lots of that happening here. From people with crazy conspiracy theories to angry, frustrated chumps and trolls whose only purpose is to get a rise out of others, sometimes it's like reading a virgin terrorist's manifesto around here.

300,000 conscripts who don't want to be there making a tide-turning impact so quickly. Hilarious.

The news reports that Comrade P. Will be able to use nuclear weapons since France stated publicly that it will not use nuclear weapons in retaliation for use against Ukraine.

That leaves Germany which has rented space to the USA for 20 missiles in Germany which is likely be the source of a retaliatory strike since the USA will hope the follow up strike will be against the silo location in Buchel, Germany (near Luxemburg and West of Frankfurt) instead of retaliating against the USA mainland silos in Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, and Colorado.
