Would you recommend staying on Cozumel or in Playa after being there? Going the Condo rental route for a couple months. Want to dive, and at least a FS massage on weekends. Not wanting the club scene, just drinks, sand, water, and a little rest w a chica here and there. Take it you liked the dive shop on Cozumel?

If Cozumel is even 1/2 of what I experienced. Do not ever leave. Dive Shacks, on the beach and guys with boats and air tanks. Very little development in the 80's. Enjoy what's there now. .

I was there primarily for diving, but did jump in the car and check out Salsa Bar one afternoon. Decent selection of girls, not overly aggressive. One was my clear favorite: petite, pretty and reasonably laid back. She asked for $150 including room, and I very politely explained that I didn't have enough cash for that. She then countered with $100, and given the time of day I figured why not? Went to the room, she was phenomenal! Very tight body, well groomed pussy, she was very energetic and did a great job.

Given the situation at the time I suspect I could have gotten her down a lot further, but at some point I figure the money means a lot more to the girls than it means to me. I also got really great service.

There are other clubs on the island but I didn't check them out. Remember, the clubs are usually open around the cruise-ship schedules so plan accordingly.

Recently in Cozumel for a few days. It seems that the main clubs, La Embajada, Salsa Club, California Club, open and close with cruise ship activity. On a Thursday there were multiple large ships at the docks and all three spots were open. Not sure what the situation was in terms of chica numbers and quality in each club as I had no free time to indulge. The next day when I noticed only one ship docked, only Californa Club was open and there were no girls until after 6 PM. When I went at 6 there were only two girls. One was a full figured Colombiana that I liked. Did an overpriced but nice 30 minute session with her. Very good service and enjoyed her company. Seems like things may be hit or miss for a while.

What are the prices now? I am making a trip in a few weeks, hope to pass on some info.

Go for the palancar reef which is making a come back (thanks covid) go for underwater adventures before the tour boats ruin it again. I bet it's 150 ft visibility! I was there 40 years ago. Got padi certified. Taught a parrot English. Drove mopeds around the island in pouring rains. Loved it. Leeward side was ALL polished beautiful sea shells for miles and miles and no humans. Probably filled with gill nets now. If not I would return! No hydrofoil while I was there either, dolphins chasing the boats, flying fish, paradise. Talked to a drunk fisherman in Spanish for hours coming back from Cancun (what a shithole then) It was my honeymoon. AWESOME! Islas Mujeres a lot safer then Cancun. Import your women. Be nice. To them I luv Cozumel.

Just returned from because. Diving was great, beer was cold, weather was so-so, and mongering was OK.

Barco is open, at least was when I was there. It is on the south end of town, past the south cruise ship docks. You will see the sign on the left heading south, just after the Amerimed building. It is the second-floor door on the right. At night they have some disco lights flashing. During the day, just knock on the door. If someone is available, they will answer.

If you are looking for massage places that offer full service, there aren't any with signs up. You need to walk down the street around the cruise ship docks. Look for 1-4 girls wearing really tight clothes standing together. Walk by slow and make eye contact, they will ask you if you want massage. Walk with them and tell them you want full-service and negotiate a price. FYI, they will charge you $2 for the condom, same as Barco, even if you bring one.

There are a couple of bars south of the port. Barcos is the name I remember there's one upstairs almost across the International pier. Don't worry someone will approach you.

I walked south from the pier.

Saw a bunch of little shops, and a Hard Rock Cafe.

Did not see a Barcos.

There were a few massage places in the strip of shops plus on the side around the corner.

No idea if they provided extra services but all the women in front of their shops asking if I wanted a massage were fat and ugly.

It's about $10 Cad per 100 MG brand name up here in Canada and bit over $3 Cad per 100 MG generic. Maybe not even worth my while to buy in Mexico after all.
