I had to write this report since it was a crazy way to spend New Years eve.

First off, I was in Ensenada with my Brother and his wife on New years eve. We got to Ensenada around 11:30 pm, and were headed to Papas and beer to party down. The nice local Police stopped us for making an Illigal U-Turn, which was not Illigal, but that is what they said. I've been going to Ensenada for several years and the scene there doesn't change very much over time so the info I posted earlier is still good I'm sure. Denny's is only one block from Anthony's and can easily and safely be walked. Anthony's has access to short time rooms outside and around the back for about $12 (for 30 minutes) the last time I used them in mid 2002 so the price may have gone up. I don't know how it works at Denny's, but I'm sure they have some kind of short time room available. Stay away from the Men's Club directly across from Anthony's unless you have money to burn and the quality is not any better. There are some other clubs down the street from Denny's, but they are very hit or miss and there are many touts and he/she street walkers to deal with. If you want the exact (or more probably approximately) details do a search for Ensenada Night Life and you should be able to find all of the Men's Clubs listed.

I am a regular contributor to boards in CT [Bridgeport] and RI. I am making a West Coast swing during the holidays also. I`m not going to have too many nights out. I can squeeze one out in Ensenada though. From what I have read, I`ll hit Anthony`s when i hit town. If pickings aren`t good, Denny`s looks like a second choice. But are they near? Is it walking distance?

Anybody have any up-to-date information about Ensenada? I'm headed there during the Christmas season and was hoping someone might have an update on any of the scene there. I realize that Anthony's is one of the best places, but was hoping for any other good places to check out.

this was my first visit to denny’s and i really was not expecting much. i thought to spend enough time to drink a beer and watch some skanky dancers and then on to anthony’s. denny’s is on the corner of the main tourist drag and the zona roja street so i was able to avoid the guantlet of freelance touts and streetwalkers of questionable gender. i bought a beer as i entered and it struck me that the bar was much smaller than i expected. i had read it had a raised stage area for the dancers, but then i realized that the bar was in an l shape with the bar as the short part of the l and the longer part contained the raised stage which had several poles to help the dancers show their stuff. there were only two working girls sitting at the bar, but around the corner a young skinny girl was dancing and there were another three girls sitting along the wall. i was not impressed by any of them. oh well, it pays to keep your expectations low, as i had, so i was not too bummed out about it. i took a seat along the wall and got adjusted to the dark, hot space. this place could really use some air conditioning! the skinny dancer finished her set without taking off her g-string and another chubbier girl got on stage and started her set.

My experience with Ensenada is that you have to walk from bar to bar to find a good one. There is always one or two that have some solid 8-9 girls dancing but it seems to change from night to night. Last weekend I hit 7 bars to find the winner. Last month I only needed to visit 3 before the jackpot.

just went to ensenada. visited anthony's and was rather disappointed. the women were mostly in their 30s or late 20s. it looked like a laid back adelitas in tj on a very slow day. not many women to choose from. i could not get turned on and passed. there are a few other bars with mexican chicas but i did not check them out since anthony is supposed to be the main one. and

First time to Ensenada. A buddy of mine has a boat at the "90 Day Yacht Club". Decided to check out Anthony's having read all the reviews and queried all my friends about everyplace else. Arrived around 9:30pm since all tell me not to go before 9:00pm. Evening started out slow. Lots of "6 rated" girls dancing by the band. All the good looking ones "sitting and waiting" suddenly got more attentive after midnight. I guess they thought they needed to go home with some money in their pockets and it was only Weds. Finally picked out Vicky. 32yo hardbody, enhanced 36d. Agreed on $100 (OK I was drunk and should have insisted on 60-80). Rooms are just around corner about 100 feet. $12 for room and $14 for the "house" to be paid b4 leaving the bar. I told her I wanted to kiss, hug and love and she said "OK". I started out the evening at Paris de Noche at about 9pm. (Nov. 13) I had been there once before a few months back and wasn't very impressed, but I wanted to see if I could find a good alternate to Anthony's. I won't fall for this trick next time. I ended up buying Jennifer three drinks at $10 each (she admitted that she got $5 each for herself) which is exorbitant, but still it was a nice start to the evening. I asked what the bar fine cost and she said about $20. She said she was from Guadalajara and had been working there for 12 years. I didn't ask her age, but I'm guessing early thirties. I ended up spending almost $70 at Paris de Noche with very limited results.

From there I moved on to the real thing in Ensenada - Anthony's! I arrived at about 10:15 and the crowd was a little thin (because it was a Wednesday) in both girls and mongers. I got a booth on the right and started looking over the girls. Since I don't smoke, I try to avoid smokers so when I spotted a beauty cruising around with a big smile, I was disappointed when she lit up. I hope this gets to you in time, but heres the info.

From what I have read prostitution is legal in Mexico, but is regulated. I believe there is some rule against prostitution in bars or maybe brothels or some such thing, but nobody pays any attention to this regulation. The first time I went into Anthony's and walked past a Cop at the door (I know it was a real cop because he had gun and nobody, but cops walk around with a gun in Mexico not counting drug dealers of course) I actually felt a little more secure. No fear of a raid or some such stupid thing.


The only good place (especially for a newbie) in Ensenada is Anthony's. It's hard not to see Anthony's as you drive into town, just look for the big gorilla on the road next to the bay. Some maps are available at the web site quoted in the post just before yours. Look in the Clubs for Hombres section. Some of the prices are a little out of date, but not too far off.

The bar fine is $14, I think the 30 minute room next door was $12 or maybe $15. The girls range from $60 to $100. The younger they are, the more expensive. Check the photo section here for Ensenada. I took all of these pictures last year and more since, but this site quit accepting new pictures for some reason.

About incall services. When I was registering at the San Nicholas hotel a couple months ago I asked the bell hop if bringing a visitor to my room would be a problem. He immediately countered with "Do you want me to get you a girl?" I said no, but it leads me to think you might have the same results by asking. Incidentally, some hotels are girl friendly and others are not. The Villa Marina is definitely OK, but the hotel just across the street from Anthony's is not. I found this out the hard way one night.
